Kathryne is a part of Kathryne_and_Sywyn when Sywyn is off on errands or lost in the nether. ^_^

Kathryne spent her youth growing up in her home city, working for her family in the family tavern. She was an only child, so it fell to her to learn all there was about the family business, from how to pour a tankard to managing the finances.
Unbeknownst to her mother and father she spent a lot of the free time she could sneak in learning magic from the wandering casters who would often come through from time to time, some so drunk they never even realised they had taught her anything. Many thought she was a child playing a silly game, but in truth she took her lessons to heart. However her rashness would lead to her curious relationship with Sywyn (which will be discussed in Sywyns own section ^^).
Kathryne is a stubborn woman, not one to back away from a challenge. She has a very strong will, but her personality is quite bipolar. If she is stopped by a stronger personality she will often start deferring to them, this side of her is often seen as being submissive, which is maybe why she ended up in such an odd situation with Sywyn.
Beyond a few basic charms and spells Kathryne is a fairly normal human being, about 5 foot 9 in height with short rugged blonde hair. her normal attire is a leather jerkin accompanied by a brown leather skirt, she is awfully fond of the materials texture.


Sywyn is a demoness, brought into the world by the one and only Kathryne after a drunken bet with a magi, several old grimoires she 'liberated' from him and at least one pint of blood for summoning regents. The original spell was supposed to summon an animal from the nearby field so they could eat well that night, the results kind of proved they didn't eat well at all that night. The demoness saw strength in the woman, deciding that she would make a pact with her in the desire to improve her own power. She had finally been given access to a new world free from the demonic overlords that ruled the plane she came from, and she wasn't going to waste it by getting killed or unsummoned.
Sywyn is very subservient to Kathryne, whether this is the demons nature or just playing along it is hard to tell, but its clear that the creature is fairly enamoured by the girl. This was made absolutely clear when after their first year as Mistress and Demoness she gifted Kathryne a robe sewn with her own energy and blood. What the demoness failed to mention was that the robe drew power from the demoness, so to recharge it she had to pay a price. This price was kept vague, but Kathryne couldn't resist the lure of getting even more stronger than any of her possible peers. She soon learned very quickly that for every hour she channeled the power of the robe, of the demoness, the magic of the robe would require the demoness to feed off Kathryne for an entire day, giving control of the robe entirely over to the demoness for that time. Sywyn certainly doesn't mind, and even though Kathryne put up such a fight about it when she learned of it, it became very clear that there would be a smile on both their lips on those days... or at least on the demoness' lips.
The robes are rarely used, mostly in life or death situations. However the demoness has been known to supply energy to the robes themselves, channeling herself into them to support her Mistress. The robes even protect the life energy of the wearer, ensuring that whatever harm comes to them they can be restored (at the cost of a large amount of Sywyns energy, which leads to the wearer having to help replenish it for at least a week).
The demoness stands at roughly 5 foot 11, clawed toes at her feet yet apart from her azure toned skin she could have been mistaken for a human. Only when she is truely angry does she 'shift' into her more demonic visage.



When they are together they aren't afraid to put up a fight, having no desire to be made into a meal. However the demoness, out of humor and fun more than anything, can be convinced to help Kathryne get into all kinds of trouble, especially if it lets the demoness see her more submissive side more often.
Cricled around Kaths neck is a small green coloured band, held firmly in place. A friendly reminder to her and to a certain someone always.

During her time visiting the park she has met the most curious naga by the name of Nanashi_, and after several encounters has grown extremely fond of the darling.

After finally reuniting with Nanashi after so long, the two confessed their love for each other, and where this goes now.. who can tell with a pair who love each other.

Also to note, I sometimes play alternate universe versions of Kathryne depending on the scene / scenario, its surprising how many of her alternate selves have came from a relatively normal world.
