(Picture only describes her human form, the form she has taken to seduce, to teach, and to blend in. Karnus is, in truth, a horrifying xenobiological lifeform that has evolved beyond the constraints of morphology and form. At once, the image is not her true form..but it is as true as any other, regardless.)

Before you stands a being exactly 6'6, of alabaster skin, and long, flowing scarlet hair of silken thread. She is soft spoken and always seems to have a compassionate warmth about her, attending to crowds, and preaching the message of the Flesh Mother.

Karnus is an avatar - a being grown from from the protoplasmic slime of the inner oceans of Org, the "Central Sun" and hivebody of the Biorga galactic mass, specifically to be the voice of Biorga, it's will, it's purpose, to creation.

Biorga, once an inorganic galaxy like any other, was populated by an extremely aggressive form of spacefaring colony bacteria in the dawn of time, which eventually, through rapid and merciless mutation, gained the ability to consume entire planets, space dust, comets, and even stars and yes, black holes. Now, it has evolved into it's current form, with novel tissues, organs, compartmentalization of purpose, a religious, spiritual bond with which Biorga relates to itself, it's members, and the universe.

She, Karnus, has been dispatched, to bring the humanoid races to an understanding of "The Instinct", which is the name Karnus uses to describe the Path of The Flesh Mother, and the way of Biorga, her most exalted and beautiful daughter. The path is, surprisingly health-inspiring, but disturbing - it propagates moderation of the passions, but preaches unrelenting pursuit of them - carefully chosen but *excessive* breeding, (Eugenics, but orgy-like lifestyles) healthy eating, but excessive consumption, no substance abuse of artificial chemicals and drugs, but excessive participation in natural psychoactives, civility, but absolute social domination as a matter of course (social darwinism in it's most extreme form), as it is Org's desire to see all flesh multiply stronger. Stronger flesh requires stronger individuals...

As far as powers, Karnus can mutate on demand into practically anything, and has a remarkably high quotient of "Ki" or "Chi", Life Force energy that can be used in combination with the powers of mutation.

This is however only the powers Karnus has on her own. One must remember, the alien is a member of a massive racial psionic gestalt, and also a priest, and can call upon both Org, and divine favor from The Flesh Mother.. in extremely limited quantities, the being is able to call upon the psychic gestalt of 'Org', the "OverMind" of the Biorga galactic mass. These powers go far beyond what has been previously described, and though limited in usage and easily spent, can warp reality in ways undreamed. In addition, Karnus specifically has a connection with "The Flesh Mother", an abstract primordial deity who is the personification of the "Outer" or "Other", when the first cosmic distinction was made. These powers are much more readily available, but FAR more subtle than the focused psychic attention of Org. They are, however, seemingly able to worm their way in to any situation, into any form, due to the Flesh Mother's intrinsic nature found in all reality. They are not likely to be able to stop an army, for instance, but may alter or change a situation in such a way that it becomes manageable to Karnus' desires.

So, come one come all, listen to the teachings of Karnus, the scriptures of an Alien God. Nevermind that she is a hungry alien of questionable origins, and may require your sacrifice to sustain..her metabolism.

Karnus is also quite weak in contrast to some powerful entities, outside her limited usage of "divine favor". To that extent, the alien priest makes for a good snack! And might even volunteer as food for baseline mortals, out of charity or otherwise.
