Disposition:Kareena is a mysterious creature, rarely does she stray from the safety of the forest and her home and for good reason, after a few disappearances from the local population Kareena has been blamed for it.....and for good reason because it was her doing. Was it really her fault that her prey walked into a trap?

A matter of Strands

The forest seemed calm, barely a bird chirped and only a faint breeze weaved between the trees, it was rather pleasant for an early spring morning and the frost had only just melted leaving a glistening dew upon whatever had been affected. Leaves and flowers seemed to glitter under the suns rays but there was something more that glittered as well.
About three feet from the ground rested what could have easily been mistaken for a strand of cord and yet it shimmered almost like silver in the light, an eye catching sight indeed and for one early morning walker it had done just that.

Lady Holmestead had always enjoyed walking in the early hours, the forest was always such a calm and gentle place and helped her take her mind off the various menial tasks that usually followed in the day, in a sense it was her way of remaining calm and collected. On many occasions the fine lady, dressed in her purple dress and matching hat, would be accompanied by a servant or guard, her job of keeping the local manor home after all required some sense of importance and security, but on this spring morning she was alone and was finding it rather refreshing indeed. At least until she noticed the shimmering strand.

It seemed out of place in the forest amongst the leaves and flowers but as the great lady approached she couldn't help but compare it to spider silk and as she touched it gently with her gloved hand she find it to be equally as durable as silk, perhaps it was from a spider after all. As the lady touched it again she noticed it ripple and vibrate slightly before growing still, a peculiar thing indeed. Smiling lightly Lady Holmestead admired the string for a moment longer before leaving it be unaware that the sudden vibration caused by her had triggered a response from the creator of the silk.

The grand lady passed the silk and moved further into the forest and unknown to her her solitary walk was no longer quite so solitary for above her scurrying from branch to branch in a slow and gentle manner walked Kareena, the silk maiden. Smiling lightly,her dark lips curving into a wide smile, the arachne moved near parallel to the lady beneath her. Kareena, a master of ambush predation, had repeated the actions a dozen times in the past but never had she followed a woman that looked so filling, their paths had never quite crossed but it was not the first time Kareena has seen the the grand lady, this was however the first time she had seen her alone and so was prepared to do whatever was necessary.

Lady Holmestead, from the sound of her gasping, was starting to tire and to Kareena this was a wonderful sound for it meant she could strike now. Like the ambush predator that she was Kareena reached back to clutch at her spinneret, releasing some strong silk Kareenna attached it to a strong branch before slowly moving to the side of the branch and allowing herself to fall. As large as the arachne was she slowly slid downwards as the silk left her body, slow and gentle directly above the grand lady.

Kareena licked her lips lightly as she descended atop her target, the woman was oblivious to the creature above her or Kareena made not a single sound until finally she was a foot above Lady Holmestead, her lips parted wide like the voracious hunter she was before she began to descend once more. The arachne reached for her target and suddenly pulled the hat from her prey's head, this caused the woman to look up. Before Lady Holmestead could scream her world was suddenly plunged into darkness as Kareena fell atop her mark, her lips slipping over the woman's head easily.

Kareena always found it easier to eat a meal in such a way for it mean she could lower her entire body around her meal until they were fully encased inside her own form and this situation was no different. With each swallow Kareena lowered herself a little more, her lips first gliding over the woman's shoulders and then her full breasts, her soft stomach and finally her waist. With much of her meal already swallowed Kareena lowered herself fully to the ground before lifting her head and the legs of her meal upwards, Lady Holmestead gradually slipped from view until there was nothing left of the grand lady from the outside world.

Kareena wiped a few strands of saliva from her lips before her hands moved to her stomach, upon her thin frame it looked large and heavy but to the arachne she could manage it's weight easily, indeed it was large and looked doubly so on her body but she enjoyed the feeling of her prey squirming and would not choose any smaller snack. As she admired her squirming gut the arachne snickered before moving to a nearby tree, carefully she ascended up it leaving only the lady's footprints and discarded hat upon the ground.

The ambush predator was voracious indeed, the silk maiden had struck again.
