What could possibly exist beyond the scope of light? Beyond the reach of dark? Freedom, billions of souls, lifetimes of memory and power, and an immortal body. He found his way to a nexus, the nexus per-se of worlds where the fire burned so bright from all the conflict that his immortality became a game to him. He began his persuit of the decadent, gorging himself on food and the sexual world, delving deep into magics in a way that for once didn't require him to slay a monster. He found a place where he was neither warrior nor king, without the responsibilities, and called it home.
Abilities
here's where it gets fun
Flame Immortality: Kane is a hybrid of an ancient ageless immortal race of dragons and "undead" which always return to a home "fire" upon death being reformed from the raw energy of the fire. This is incredibly draining and often leaves his essence near where he perished, he will always seek out this "soul remnant" as he is drawn to it... Insatiably.
Hollow Rage:when completely drained of souls, physical stamina, or if he has perished too frequently his raging dragon side takes over and he binges on the souls around him to sate his undead thirst for souls, the souls of the powerful or an entire village will usually do, such tragedy could be averted...
Healing Flames: any source of extreme warmth around him, as hot as flame or hotter will have curative effects on his anatomy, acid does not share this property but overheated stomachs can find him rather indigestible. Sitting within any coronas of heat from flames causes him to restore this way, and the heat source he is linked to completely restores his body and mind to their prime.
Magics- five styles:
sorcery: energy blasts, condensed beam blades, seeking crystal bombs and even a brutal laser define how he melds souls into magical attacks
pyromancy: explosions, pillars of lava erupting, and good old fireballs, what did you expect?
miracles: prayers that heal everyone nearby, force blasts, hurling sunlight spears and storms of lightning. Praise the sun!
hexing: shotgun like waves of darkness tornadoes of damned souls, this is the magic of sacrifice, and while it demands much of the caster it delivers.
