Mythology is rife with the politics of higher beings bickering and fueding amongst each other for grasps of power or petty squabbles, a trait that was pasted on to the progeny of the universe's mortal ilk. Kakabel was intimiately familiar with such back and forth escapades as an Angel of War for her pantheon. For eons, her group and deity had fueded with various other factions and religious orders. Something seen as ordinary and eternal, that is simply the way of life for many of the higher entities of the universe. That is, until betrayal causes the utter destruction of one's pantheon.
Kakabel is the sole survivor of a massacre to her former alliegence to a deity that is forbidden to be spoken about. She had been sent on a secretive task by her Lord to potentially provide a saving grace to the upcoming battle that tragically wiped them out. As the opposing faction started to lay claim to Kakabel's home realm and slaughter everyone they came across, she too would eventually become one of the hunted. It was only through the bizarre interference by
Balis that she was spared the smiting hand of the legion. To this day, Kakabel has no understanding why Balis chose to spare her as no requests have been made out of her to repay the life debt. Leaving Kakabel without a pnatheon and left to roam without direction as what to do. With no Lord to serve and no purpose to her life.
So she often spends her time emulating the life of a teenager that tends to cannibalize Humans. Totally makes sense, right? ( Balis
