Kadriss

Appearance

Kadriss is a harpy. Forget the myths; harpies are not all ugly unpleasant old women. Kadriss is young, athletic, and extremely seductive. She has ample breasts, but is otherwise very thin. She stands about seven feet tall.

Her upper body is essentially human, but only to the extent that say a dragon looks like a crocodile. Her pale, sharp face would never be mistaken for truly human. Mostly, it's the fangs and the reddish tint to her eyes.

She has feathers even where hair would be on a human, and scattered lightly across her torso, with mostly bare patches across her belly and chest.

Her feathers are bright, metallic colors in a glorious display, heavy on reds and blues.

She has no hands, but her talons are quite dextrous in spite of her wicked claws.

Abilities

Kadriss is rather talented with small scale telekinesis. That is, she can manipulate objects which she would be capable of lifting physically, with greater precision than human hands. Her limitation in this is based primarily on weight. She cannot for instance lift a person even equal to her own weight, but she can strike multiple targets with small objects in unison.

She has some control over the wind, related to her telekinetic skill.

This is only a talent in a place like the Nexus. Most of the time it's just a curse. Her appetite is literally insatiable. No matter how much she eats, she is in a permanent state of ravenous hunger. She can eat well beyond her body weight in a single sitting and not only remain hungry, but due to the magical nature of her digestive system there is no outward sign of any meal once consumed. Living prey may or may not even encounter each other in her belly when she has consumed more than one in succession. Think of her stomach as a "bag of holding". It's bigger on the inside. If she eats someone the same size as herself, they'll still find they have room to get comfortable inside.

The same magic which is responsible for her appetite makes her extraordinarily flexible, so she can in fact fit her mouth around someone as big as she is.

She can reform herself and others.

Personality
She's flighty, prone to rather violent mood swings.

If she likes you, you're safe; though she may well eat you anyway, just cause she's starving. In which case, you can bet it'll be a pleasant trip.

If she doesn't like you, well she can be quite cruel at times.

Her way of speaking is quite odd. While her vocabulary is extensive, her syntax is strange, like one who is not familiar with the language. (Just for reference, syntax is what's wrong with the way Yoda speaks)

History
She's quite old. Ancient in fact, dating to an age when creatures such as herself were commonplace. She has spent the last several centuries in a sort of enchanted sleep, and thus is largely unfamiliar with the nuances of modern society, as well as modern speech.

She has recently been made the slave of Xenth.
