Jurii is an oni who travels the world in search of many different rare alcohols in order to create a "perfect" alcohol of her own. Because of her intense traveling and research, she is one of the premier "scholars" on alcohol, even going as far as to create her own method of potion-making using a special alcohol she keeps in a gourd. She is also a firm believer that the dish alcohol is served with is a necessary part of taste-testing alcohol, and has developed quite the taste for live meals with her drinks.
No one- including herself- is quite sure how long she has been alive, but accounts of her appearances date back as far as 300 years ago. She is likely far older, as accounts from that time detail her enormous power from a time where she was a violent demon as opposed to her seemingly gentle current persona. She disputes the fact that she was ever violent at all, and maintains that the family who found this account falsified the account against her because of a history of anti-demon discrimination in the area. She also disputes that she is old enough to have been alive at the time the account claims it was written.
Jurii's magic consists of her drinking from her gourd and forming a potion within her own mouth. She can then either bottle the potion from her mouth or force-feed another person the potion through a kiss. She is experienced mostly in curses, though she is about average when it comes to healing potions.
When she isn't traveling the world, Jurii lives on the snowy slopes of a northern mountain, claiming she's been there since she was a child, though she doesn't like to talk about her family life or much of her past, at all. Her house is little more than a cave dug out of the side of the mountain, with a comfortable living quarters within.
Although she hardly ever shows it, Jurii is quite good at wrestling, and has above average strength due to being an oni. However, she frequently drinks weakening potions in order to keep her own strength in check and not cause harm to the people around her, who already have a negative opinion of her due to her demonic heritage.
