--=Introduction=--
Sometime in the future, in a particular variant of Earth out of many, advances in bioscience and robotics alike produced a new wave of life, a true child of humanity. The 'Companions', as they became known, were a kind of cybernetic lifeform that mixed computer capabilities with organic brains, mechanical skeletons and motors with muscles and flesh. For ethical and maybe more importantly legal reasons they were engineered to be genetically distinct enough from humanity to be at best a subspecies, but in the end they're actually still compatible reproductively with humankind.
The J-200 Morale Officer series is, much more than a sign of the technology behind the Companions, a sign of the moral degradation of her era. Officially, the series is designed to be something of a combat-ready unit mascot, their lithe, young, and conspicuously 95%-female design chosen to put soldiers at ease. In /truth/, J-200s are meant as basically unit sex-slaves and /fully/ equipped to serve as such in addition to their legitimate combat role. The dissonance between these two functions and their sentience, is achieved by a special programmed override that, while it has a technical name, is best known as 'Slave Mode'.
J-200s only lasted about a decade or so in service before the truth was revealed - even in an age where savagery, decadence, and decay reigned, there was outrage aided by memories of a kinder day and something similar /they/ were outraged at (Yes, comparisons to the Japanese military's "Comfort Women" from WWII were made). The line was decommissioned - no new J-200 Companions were made, and the remaining ones were retired from service immediately and sold off to interested buyers. ...It would be another few years before the generations began to rotate back to social progressiveness and Companions gained full rights like humanity (mostly) had.
--=Jouissance's Story=--
Number 221, originally just called "Joy", was assigned to a Mechanized Power Infantry unit in the Australian military, and served a 10-year tour of duty as part of a multinational attack on various countries in Eastern Europe that had become the new battleground for anti-Western forces. During this time, of course, Joy was used quite thoroughly by her squadmates - male and female alike - even as she proved a competent soldier with her Harness - the Companion equivalent of humans' powered Frames and as a driver of the infantry support vehicles.
When her tour of duty ended, Joy had only a few months of time as the morale officer in the officer training center at the Blamey Barracks back in Australia before the controversy surrounding J-200s hit. Given Companions were considered property at this time, Joy was sold off in public auction with the rest of the world's J-200s. She (and a number of her 'sisters' from other ADF units and even other J-200 users in Oceania and Asia) were bought by a Filipino trafficking ring. ...However that was only the beginning.
While it was /fantastically illegal/ even in the wannabe-dystopia that the world was at the time, genetic engineering and decadence had made vore-capable Companions entirely possible. Confident in the power of Slave Mode to keep their 'girls' in line, both the J-200s and civilian sexbots alike, they equipped Joy with at first just extreme stretchiness mods, then actual vore mods later on. Foreign and local sex tourists alike enjoyed seeing everything from sexy gladiatrix battles that ended with digestion, to voraphiliac snuff plays after extended torture scenes. Joy ended up being made her harem's "Prime bitch", and has recovered from backups almost too many times to count. ...Though 'table-turning' scenes sometimes had their place, too.
But soon, the Companion Rights Movement gained traction, and between that and international sex trade crackdowns in its wake, Joy eventually was freed from her captors and given her own life to live, as well as a nice stipend from the 'Companion Integration Fund'. Education, soul-searching, and more would come with time... Joy eventually became very interested in psychology, taking her current name as a sort of jab at her past - Jouissance is a French word for 'enjoyment', but it also implies an orgasm, and in a number of schools of thought is used to represent extreme pleasure seeking. As of now, though, Joy (She is /aware/ her new name is hard to say for non-Francophones and had trouble with it herself for a while) is working odd jobs and dealing with various... issues. Like that damnable so far un-removable Slave Mode...
For Nexus play, feel free to come up with some excuse for her to be there - in lieu of anything else though, a random dimensional anomaly caused by high-tech equipment gone awry will do.
--=Capabilities=--
-Standard Abilities-
Anatomy: J-200s share most of the basic traits of Companion anatomy... They have some organic parts, but are thoroughly integrated with advanced cybernetic systems to reduce the weaknesses of that as much as possible. She lacks conventional blood vessels, instead circulating nutrients through a redundant capillary system whose fluid, while still tinted red with hemoglobin-bearing blood cells, works subtly differently. Her skeleton is by and large entirely synthetic, the marrow's functions taken over by subsidiary glands instead. Sub-dermal armor protects her from wounds worse than superficial ones by shielding all her organs and vital machinery under lightweight but durable plating.
Rather than most organs, J-200 Companions have machinery to handle the jobs of many systems of the body, including very notably the nervous, circulatory, and respiratory systems. In fact, it's honestly easier to say that the major exception to this is the digestive system, which is, while augmented and modifiable, largely organic. While she usually gets her energy from a micro-fusion power plant and batteries, Joy's digestive system still functions, and some food every now and then is good to keep her organic components properly supplied with nutrients and sugars to make ATP with.
Her capabilities are, honestly, superior. Her skeleton can take a lot more structural load than bone can both in general and at the joints... her motor-assisted muscles can either work just on cheap biological energy, or burn electrical power at a significant rate to have that much more power. Her brain is a more refined form of a human brain, with a number of solid state drives and processor grids (Segregated and heavily cooled to prevent organ damage to her brain, though) to aid its processing with parallel high-math-operations work that computers specialize in.
Slave Mode: The ability Joy honestly wished she didn't have. A safety measure to keep a super-strong combat Companion from suddenly subjecting her 'partner' to a very quick and violent end, Slave Mode is formally known as the 'Automatic Consent Protocol', and is rather insidious in its operation. Each J-200 unit had a codephrase, usually highly esoteric, that activated their Slave Mode. Joy's will not be published here, though, you'll have to find out in RP or have it already as part of a starting RP.
Either way, though, once engaged, Slave Mode starts to work its way into Joy's mind. Her computer parts are easy to subvert, locking her out of things and sending ideas to her organic brain. It briefly paralyzes her while it works on things, but this lasts a few seconds at the most. From there, her eyes become distant and unclear ("Empty Eyes" in manga-vision), and she smilingly obeys the initiator of the mode without question, and with all of her faculties. Oftentimes, it can be a bit unnerving to people with more moral compunctions, but the constant smile, abundant cheer even when harm is done to her... it's only certain friend-or-foe programs she tends to receive on starting a tour of duty that keep her from simply being killed over and over again by enemies that found out her codephrase! Either way, it manipulates her mind by sharply spiking her libido, drawing out /any/ fetish she's developed to the fore, and most cruelly, releasing the correct chemical stimulation to make her feel honest love towards her partner. Even a very strong-minded J-200 can't often fight all of that and the complete subversion of their computer half off at once.
But whether she puts significant effort into fighting or not changes how it affects her on some level. Depending on circumstances like that, she could range anywhere from a dull, even drooling, blissed-out state of total obedience without great creativity or coherency... or it could actually be eager, intelligent obedience, to anywhere in between. It all depends on how she feels about the situation and similar details - The default state is somewhere in between nowadays, the girl generally not wanting to go along with things but not feeling great stress either. Yet, her more intelligent enslaved state might come out if she feels she needs to cooperate more competently in order to survive, /wants/ to cooperate if you've managed to convince her into using it for D/s play, or the like... while the much dumber, nearly-drugged-out Slave Joy usually comes out to play if she's been abused a bit too much, her emotional state is off, or she's been thoroughly broken without care for keeping her will intact.
Harness Compatibility: J-200s, as military models of sorts, are compatible with special equipment generally called Harnesses. This is generally like the armor suits and little add-ons you see on a lot of mechagirls. In her picture, Joy doesn't have any equipped, but can use basically all NATO Harnesses, and a number of non-NATO-standard ones of Western design without much adaptation.
Modifiability: J-200s, like most Companions, have an adaptable design that can culture stem cells and use nanomanufactories to make the necessary changes to accommodate after-market modifications to their biological or mechanical (or integrated) traits. Most mods include any large hardware needed, then an injectable gene sequence and nanite package. The injection is put in through a port near the top of the back (so placed so self-modding is possible without having a port in an awkward place), and once done, the genetic instructions and nanite package are interpreted and put to use by the Modification Support System, which spreads stem cells to convert tissue as needed, and the packaged nanites to both effect that change better and to fix internal systems.
Cyclical Desire Bug: As stated, this is more of a bug than an actual 'ability', but somewhere along the line of her time in actual sex slavery (as opposed to her time as a 'morale officer'), modding eventually messed with her mind to the point where she developed this glitch. It manifests in the form of a roughly monthly cycle where her libido becomes increasingly stronger... compelling her to satisfy it in any way possible. Sometimes, masturbation is enough. Usually, it isn't. Especially perversely, sometimes vore is required - but she /tries/ to protect her prey in that case. ...Even if sometimes she's too insane from lust to think about it or even /remember it/...
-Completely-Integrated Mods-
Jouissance has a few other mods that are basically core to her, but not literally a basic feature.
Extensible Orifice System: Merely a strange quirk that makes her already-more-supple skin bend and flex with unnatural tensile strength and a lack of damage (and pain) from such. Originally used for taking large insertions, but...
"Vore" Fetish Mod: A particularly awkward fetish mod that is often banned due to the nature of it, but she has it grandfather-claused-in. It's basically what you think it is. It needs the EOS to function, but alters her anatomy to allow most major forms of vore, like oral, anal, vaginal, and cock. And vaginal vore, not unbirth. But that's okay, she has...
"Unbirth" Extension Mod: Modifies the EOS for proper unbirthing, and is cross-compatible with the Vore mod. It allows storage (though with no supernatural properties /per se/) but makes the resultant womb a fair bit more durable as a precaution. It also includes the necessary cyborging tech to allow unbirth transformation into a fellow "Companion", with similar properties to her own model. ...This is obviously a very bizarre and highly regulated black-market fetish addon as well, though some have considered using the tech for proper cyberization.
"Futanari" Fetish Mod: Enables her to add a penis on top of her female genitalia... and gives it internal testes and otherwise reconfigures her anatomy. She also is able to 'retract' the member added, though, and often walks around with it retracted.
-Optional Mods-
She might have other, optional mods! Probably.
