Joshua Chantly is a boy of perhaps eight years old. He stands at a whopping three foot five - tiny - and looks to weigh around 65 pounds. He has short, brown hair, and bright blue eyes, with a slim, sort-of-athletic build to him. He seems to be perfectly in proportion, even if he is shorter than average, almost as if he simply shrank in the wash one day.

The boy tends to dress in normal, every day clothes; a cyan t-shirt, most days, and dark blue jeans. On his feet are a pair of sneakers... pink, oddly enough, but he seems to be able to pull it off without seeming like a sissy.

When he's 'on duty', however, he wears the normal Chantly Minion uniform; a pink-with-cyan-stripes-down-the-sides jumpsuit, with metal gloves and boots, and a face-concealing helmet. Except he doesn't usually wear the helmet. Unlike most of Elizabeth's minions, his uniform actually fits him well.

While Joshua may look young, he's actually around eighteen years old. He's currently in the employ of - and has basically been adopted by - Elizabeth_Chantly, acting mainly as a lab assistant, test subject and all-around lacky. He's been with her quite a while - two years - and, strangely enough, hasn't been fatally eaten yet, even though Elizabeth's minions usually only last a month, tops.


Joshua is quite smart, as befits his position as a mad scientist's top lab assistant. He's also remarkably strong, the modifications made to his body allowing him to lift twice his own weight - albeit with quite a bit of effort. And that's not even going into the gadgets he sometimes carries around, either for testing purposes or just to freak people out when he suddenly shifts all the molecules in his body several yards to the left. Or all the molecules in their clothes.

Joshua generally carries around a 'stun baton' and the experimental Quantum-waveform Distortion Field generator, or "QDF". The "QDF" has limited range, but it can do some pretty incredible things by adjusting probability and warping space-time around itself. The QDF takes the form of a sort of watch-like device on the boy's right wrist.

In other news, Joshua has a 'thing' for Gretchen. Whether this is reciprocated or not is unknown.
