Jon Rawlins grew up in a military family, was taught in a military school, and was raised to be a soldier. At the age of 20, he was chosen, unknown to him, to be part of a new military study, trying to incorporate an ancient reptile's scales into the human skin for extra padding and even stop some gun-fire from causing too much damage. He was kidnapped and taken to a secret military science facility and tested, given various drugs and toxins. For a while, everything seemed to going as planned. Rawlin's skin changed and adapted to the new bio-armor as predicted at first, but soon the ancient beast's scales began to take over his body to the point for a moment, the scientists had thought he died. Presumed dead, he was taken to the autopsy lab to be examined when suddenly his vital signs reappeared, but nothing good was to come of it. Jon Rawlins changed into the beast, the dragon that had been put into him. Furious and feral, the beast destroyed the lab and left searching for a new place to belong.
Jon was not lost though. Despite becoming a beast, he later found out he could change back. He also found that he could communicate within himself to the beast, almost like two people in one. Jon was ultimately in control of his new mutation, but occasionally it would slip and cause havoc. Nonetheless, Jon was now an exile and forced to roam on his own, always with his monstrosity inside him.
Jon normally carries a combat knife and a pistol somewhere on his person. He also usually wears a pair of worn jeans, a dark brown leather jacket with a old shirt. Now being a monster, he lives alone, rarely ever entering any major cities. He wanders anywhere his feet take him making himself a nomad.
The preference scales are a nifty idea, but can sometimes get confusing:
This is an all around character, he'll play with any RP as long as there is no God-modding, but he has a set, realistic personality. Don't expect that to change if you try to do something odd to him. The only thing I don't like is scat and waterworks. If you plan on doing things like that, he's not going to take a good liking to it. If you have any questions about something you want to try, feel free to ask. If the RP turns to something he doesn't care for, trust me, he'll try to leave and eventually will.
