Proudhoof is a name that carries a weight of nobility to it, a family line dating centuries back made up of some of the most succesful Centaur's to have ever lived, knights, lords, war generals, doctors, scientists, explorers etc etc...

To be a Proudhoof is to be born into wealth and dignity, it is to have the expectations of all those who know the name thrust upon you, something Jodie isn't too thrilled about. Jodie you see is grateful for the good upbringing but being hounded by her carers and mutuals has always been a curse, she enjoys simpler things, good friends, a nice long trot in the fields, a quiet read of a lengthy novel.
