Jo_Madison

Almost as long as there have been gods and mortals, there have been demigods. Some become prophets, priests, or otherwise serve their parent deity, some become great heroes, and some...some have more humble aspirations.

Josephine (‘Jo’, to basically everyone) Madison is in the latter category. The result of a tryst between a humble farmer and an adventurous goddess of the harvest, she grew up with her mortal father, and despite her origins, decided she liked the work.

Using her talents to help his farm thrive, Jo never had any desire to do anything else with her life. Even after her father died (he’s with her mother now. They get together for dinner sometimes!), she was happy to remain a farmer. Sure, if there’s trouble nearby, she’ll use her considerable power to help however she can, but she doesn’t go hunting for adventure.

Standing an imposing seven and a half feet tall, and with plenty of muscle, Jo certainly looks powerful, but she’s even stronger than she appears. It’s not uncommon to see her carrying misbehaving cattle back to the barn with the ease of someone carrying a stubborn cat, or moving a massive boulder to clear space on the fields.

Strength isn’t her only gift from the gods, although it is the only one that came about naturally; with her mother’s help, she’s learned to manipulate the divine magic within her to alter her body. She’s able to grow to huge sizes (her maximum preferred size is around 100 feet tall, but her true limits are unknown), and can swap between masculine or feminine genitalia depending on her mood.

She’s a very friendly gal, despite her power. She’ll happily help her neighbors with tasks that would take mortals days, or even weeks to complete, and can often be found at the local bar when she’s done for the day.
