No matter the era or the culture there always exists those willing to venture into the unknown, to brave the taboo and dangerous realms in hope of finding Answers. Jive is such a man, an explorer of rare caliber. He has wandered through realities and out again, traversing the depths of his mind and the vastness of the world. This gentleman is a renaissance man in every sense of the word, an artist, poet, warrior and lover of pround prowess, at least within his own perception. How he found himself within this exotic realm is a mystery. Our hero entered some ancient pyramid deep in the jungle and emerged on the outskirts of this strange park., he seemed to take the impossible in stride. Conversation with passersby have alerted him to the dangerous nature of the place, already having escaped a carnivorous plant he is more than on his guard.

Jive is a lean yet toned figure of six foot, sculpted muscle hinted at beneath an adventurers garb of well worn leather pants, loosely fitted, and a cotton T. The weather beaten fedora is cliche, but he doesn't really care. He carried a well maintained pistol holstered at the side of his chest and is a skilled combatant, though he does have a weakness for feminine charms. The seductive villainess has been his downfall on quite a few occasions, but thus far he's found a way to come out on top. Maybe his luck will hold out... who knows.

I'm a longtime fan of rp combat and was instantly interested in this.

This character is intended as prey, and is nonvoring, but I would love to play with the combat rules on the way down, or earn my escape.


- Skilled Grappler - (Defense)
Jive is a well trained fighter, juijitsu being his chosen art. This allows him an innate sense of how to escape being held, clenched, or otherwise immobilized. ( +2 to rolls against being held)

- Pistol Whip -
Bullets are priceless in survival horror, as such Jive has learned to conserve. If brought close to some pred's gaping maw f inecvitable demise Jive is quick with his pistol, striking the nose of the would be devourer and giving them a ( -2 to oral consumption attempts.) Unfortunately he's not exprienced enough to expect less common ways of eating a man.

-Rogueish Charm-
Being a world traveler and ruggishly handsome man does have its advantages. Jive can often charm his way out of a bad situation, if the opponent is inclined towards his race/sex. On a roll of 16+ he can apply a mild hypnosis to his enemy, making them prefer him alive and unharmed to be properly enjoyed. Denying them offensive attacks for the next round.

-Choke out, or tap out-
Jive is a well versed grappler, specializing in various chokes, as he's inclined towards nonlethal defense. On winning a second consecutive round of grappling he has worked himself into a position to choke his opponent. If he wins the third roll the victim is either choked unconscious if they roll 10-, or on 11+ recognizes Jive as a suprior combatant, demoralizing them for the next three rounds

-Survivor!-
"I've been in tighter places!" Hving experienced countless harrowing escapes in his lifetime Jive doesn't know when to quit. If he Is swallowed he can make an escape attempt on the next round at a +5, though if this fails he recieves -5 on the next attempt)
