Jill Valentine is an American Special Operations Agent (SOA) of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, of which she is a co-founder and one of the original eleven members, making her a respected and high ranking operative of the organization.

Jill has a broad range of skills which she utilizes in her ongoing fight against bioterror. As well as having extensive experience in bomb disposal, she is very proficient at lock-picking, earning her the nickname, master of unlocking among her colleagues.
Her experience with weapons is varied and she is a skilled marksman with impecable aim, making her highly dangerous with a rifle. Favouring speed however, her weapons of choice are handguns and machine guns.

Jill's hand to hand combat can rival the best of them, with her body officially described as "not skinny, more like muscular" and her fighting said to be "highly honed". She compensates for her relatively slight stature in comparison to her male counterparts with her immense speed and flexibility when fighting, favouring the use of kicks and graples over her fists. She is also very fast and deadly with a knife and fearless in battle, even attempting to challenge Albert Wesker with just a knife.

Aside from combat and weaponry, Jill is a skilled piano player and swimmer.
