The profile is also a work in progress; please be patient while the player works out the way they wish to articulate Jasper's
backstory with the information we are provided.
“Earth… is a prison. And I got out because I’m better than this place; I only came back to finish you off."
— Jasper
Jasper; a perfect specimen of a quartz soldier created on Earth from the Beta kindergarten in the middle of the rebellion aid in
quashing the Crystal Gems in their quest to free Earth from Homeworld's clutches. Against all odds, given the poor state of the Beta
Kindergarten, Jasper came out perfectly, unlike all of her other grounds-mates.
She fought valiantly, coming to respect the leader of the Rebellion for her battle tactics-- the Crystal Gems were severely
out-numbered, but they were still noble adversaries. Despite her brutish nature, she was deeply wounded when Rose Quartz shattered
their diamond. (Player presumes that it is shortly after this that the war is called quits, but this is theory.)
Eventually, Homeworld troops were pulled from Earth and the planet was nearly abandoned, save for the metaphorical time-bomb baking
within the Earth's core. This was fine by Jasper; she was happy to have the miserable planet destroyed. Soon thereafter, she was
re-assigned to serve Yellow Diamond. Life went on and thousands of years passed. She had put Earth behind her until she was given the
mission to escourt a Peridot back to the wretched planet of her origin to check on the development of the Cluster.
Jasper, of course, obliged with no objection, though she had reservations about going back to that planet. A small part of her
was excited to go back-- needed to go back-- in order to see for herself if there were still pockets of Crystal Gem rebels as the
rumours had suggested.
It was an odd desire for closure; she had to see it for herself. Of course, upon arriving on Earth, she was greeted by
the last pocket of the resistance of Crystal Gems. It disgusted her, though she secretly took pleasure in seeing that Rose Quartz
was gone.
