The Jan-kiir (Yan-Kyr), sprang forth from literally Nothing at all. Long before the cosmos had a form or function, creatures existed within the spaces between the budding multiverses. These creatures know nothing of themselves, function, have no ambition or goals, think of it as the proverbial gene pool awaiting direction. Now, push some into the direction of remaining where they are, but give them a will to know they exist. Over the course of time, identities are formed along with beliefs and concepts. The self is made, and eventually these Nothings become Something. Some refer to this hellish world as the home of the Eldritch, beings who exist outside of time and space that haunt the dreams of those who've dared glance into their world. Not all are malicious, though some certainly are. Some embody tenants from various different ideologies, yet most focus on following certain ideas or emotions. Especially emotions. Jankiir is no different, he was created from nothing at all and developed an identity all his own. He is not malicious, cruel, or evil.. but he is an Eldritch.

Jankiir specifically is the Eldritch of Romance, he is so enraptured with the idea of Love it has become his sole function within the Multiverse. He thrives on it, literally feeding from the emotions and energy released from such individuals who find themselves trapped by either his own charming nature or others involved. He does not have to be the one In Love, in other words. He simply needs to be near it. As such, one often finds him hanging around couples and places where Love itself abounds. It isn't unusual to find him attending a wedding, a birthday, even churches during their ceremonies. Like most of his kin, his true form is a terrible tangled mass of tentacles and gnashing teeth, but also like his kin he is more than capable of adopting a more amenable form to those he wants to meet. This is usually in the form of a very well dressed gentleman, one who speaks with absolute clarity and always carries a rose within his jacket pocket. He is a notorious charmer, ever seeking both men and women alike to swoon over his words or actions if not their own. Some have said he could charm the pants off a Nun if he had the mind to, but unlike most Eldritch; he also understands the concept of limitations. He does not pursue those who show no interest in himself or what he could offer, instead prefering the company of those who do not concern themselves with petty things such as looks or conditions of birth. Truly a romantic at heart, he will never purposefully harm or anger someone that did not come from a place of pure love, at least in his mind.

Physically, he stands at just over six feet in height and weighs roughly 180 pounds. He is not incredibly well built, nor is this a thing that bothers him in the least. Anyone who's been here for more than a few days know full well looks can and usually are deceiving. He wears nothing but the finest of clothing, and carries nothing but the finest goods with him. Throughout his VERY long life upon the Earth, he has acquired quite a massive fortune; though how that has come to be no one is certain. He spends his money frugally, unless it came to expensive wines or cuff links. No expense was ever spared when it came to appearances or entertaining potential loves. His disposition is usually quite cheerful, unless pining over a lost opprotunity with a partner or simply wishful thinking. As with the rest of his kind, he possess an alarming healing factor that quite literally scares the willies out of most who've had the misfortune of injuring the fellow. The only time one can catch him not being charming, pining, loving or caring.. is when they seek to harm him. Then, he will reveal his true form; and it is terrible to be on the receiving end of the Wrath of an Irrate Eldritch.
