You'd never know it by looking at her, but this girl's on a mission!
Well, maybe you WOULD know. Why else would someone so apparently helpless come here, after all?
Jaina Soleil isn't helpless, though. Not quite. She's got her defenses, and she's sure as hell not shy about using them! Goodness no, she knows just what to do to take care of herself(though she's not exactly likely to do it, really, some of the time. Bit naive, that girl).
You see, Jaina is a Solar Girl. A member of a rare human bloodline, known for a unique genetic ability, she's one of the few humans who can use a Solar Gun! The weapon of choice against undead of all types, and certainly not bad against mere mortals, it's a rare combination of magic and technology that really, REALLY works. AS in, scarily well!
That said, though, the girl herself isn't too well trained. She makes up for it, for the most part, by being godawful sneaky in most circumstances. She's fast, agile, and athletic, with pretty good stamina and a good turn of speed, not to mention a nice, small body that wriggles into tight spaces pretty easily(not always to her benefit, hur hur). And she knows she's not much of a match for most nasties out there, not yet. Given the opportunity she will run! But she just doesn't seem to realize that there's not always a way to get away...
Still! She remains a peppy and upbeat girl, at least so far. She's not really encountered anything more dangerous than skeletons, ghouls and bats, so she's not too worried either. And besides... if the worst DOES happen, she's got insurance! The Solar Bank has been good to her family in that regard, too. Hm.
Regardless... she's here now! She's wandering on her adventure, looking for someone specific, and she's not going home! Not until she's found him! Of course, she may wind up going places she never dreamed of, but, eh. Regardless, she IS here, and you can be assured that she's tasty.
Seventeen years old and out of her hometown for the first time in her life, Jaina's rather innocent to the ways of the world. Standing 5'3, weighing a bit more than she looks like she would(armor and such, you know, even if you can't see it), she's got lovely blue eyes, often hidden behind her goggles. There, dangling from her wrist, is her Solar Gun, the Needle, a custom model she had made before she set out on her quest. What exactly its capabilities are, well, that's something to find out later. Still, it is a bit unconventional... she's looking for more parts to make more.
In particular... Dragoon, Samurai, and Calamity.
