Jahri is what was termed, by her creator, a D-type hunter. A genetically engineered supersoldier, and not even fully human, she and her clonesisters were made to hunt and kill whatever target their creator designated. Incredibly strong, durable, fast, and intelligent, they were meant to work in packs or alone, and aided by the use of the Limpid Channel, a sort of psychic network. As a result, not a one of them actually talks, communicating entirely by telepathic broadcast.... useful enough, though, considering they have a fairly impressive range when they use this.

Still, the project was never a success. While the girls were exactly as advertised, the tests they were put through were... well. They were more than a match for the girls. Very nearly all of them were killed, or eaten, and the survivors were scattered and lost. Jahri was nearly killed, herself, when she was flung by a giant monster. She WOULD have died, had she not landed in the ocean. That softened the blow enough that she survived, weakened, long enough to escape notice by anything and everything.

Food was easy enough to come by. Fish were plentiful, and with her armor she could spear one easily enough, and devour it. Her armor kept her safe from predators that weren't large enough to swallow her whole, as well, providing excellent protection from sharks and the like. Her lack of any real, pressing need for oxygen served her well as well, and her speed gave her a definite edge. Able to hold her breath for half an hour or more, she'd simply lurk, pounce, and feed, until she was healthy, at which point she made her way back to the island from which she had been thrown.

Unfortunately for her, all that remained there was the remains of the monster she and her sisters had been fighting... along with the remains of most of her sisters. One or two were missing, but the rest were all gone. For the first time in her life, she was alone... and she had no idea what to do. So, she waited for a while, until she grew anxious, and eager to leave. After some exploration and misadventures.... well, here she is.

Standing about four and a half feet tall, and weighing more than she looks like she should, Jahri is the picture of health, despite her odd eyes and hair color. Fit, energetic, friendly, and cheerful in all things, she never seems too put out by anything. She's got a rather dim view of morality, and has no qualms whatsoever about killing someone, or eating someone(basically the same thing in the end, that). At the same time, she's... well, naive, and innocent. Carefree, almost. She doesn't do anything needlessly, though, and typically only fights in self defense.

Capable of impressive feats of strength and agility, the girl can jump more than ten feet in the air, run faster than thirty miles an hour, last an incredibly long time in a fight or while traveling, and strike harder than you'd believe possible. She's almost always accompanied by that little 'lizard', in fact a suit of living armor. At need, the lizard breaks apart, and binds to her body, providing full torso and head protection, as well as good protection for her lower legs and arms, both now equipped with the claws of the lizard's feet, making her more dangerous. She seems utterly unencumbered by even this heavy armor, though.
