Izzy is a confident woman, but not overly so, with a gentle heart and good intentions. Out to enjoy life and smile rather than dominate and flex her power which she may very well have plenty of! Kind, and experienced, but she is working towards something. She has a goal, a reason for what she does. What that goal is, who knows? A good man/woman, recognition, or just happiness perhaps? She's smart, and knows how to take her time and do things right.
A large part of this disposition comes from the fact that she is a draki, someone born with unusual draconic traits and gifts that currently lack any sort of consistent explanation considering how rare a draki being born actually is. Maybe the sordid tales of a dragon laying with a woman are true or some long past draconic heritage manifesting itself but Izzy believes it is something simpler for which her peers derided her. What is known is that while draki are exceptionally rare they are also very potent magically speaking~. Each draki is in tune with one of the classical elements and often display signs of magical or psionic prowess as well, making them valued slaves, bodyguards, or soldiers..when people aren't scared of their draconian features and destructive potential. Izzy has been forced to leave several homes after being found by slavers or terrified villagers running her out of town for fear of what she might do.
The one exception that she found was in the institutes of arcane knowledge that nurtured those seeking to wield the forces of sorcery, once she convinced them she would be a better student than as a test subject. Within the Amethyst Counsel, Izzy found a home as a student and a mediator in disputes between her fellows since many considered her an impartial party considering her lack of connection to any noble family or government. So she applied herself to the tasks given to her, educating herself on a variety of topics before taking an official position within the order. In time she became well regarded and the day she announced she was leaving was a sad one though she has a door open to her should she tire of her wanderings.
Thus Izzy set out into the wide world better prepared for the challenges that might face her and with a notable organization at her back to quell the uncertainties of those around her, traveling from town to town and gradually making her way north the entire time. Maybe its because that area felt like home to her or perhaps what she seeks can be located deep in the mountains but Izzy has always moved with purpose and this time is no different, what she seeks is hidden in the ice and snow but the journey there is as important as the destination so she is content to take her time and do it right.
