It took several centuries but the clamor of the mortals in which Izanagi brought home and Izanami devoured, she began to be called by a new name: the Goddess of Death. That name was fitting for how many have met their early end due to her jealousy. How many more would die inside the body of what seemed to be a man with the heart of a woman?
