Ixi is a hedonist, the kind of person who seeks nothing but pleasure. What brings her pleasure? Well, sex, obviously. Food is wonderful too - anything to satisfy an insatiable hunger. Vore provides her with a means of satisfying both hungers at once - for vore is highly sexual, in her case. May not be for her victims.
Ixi is a pleasure slut to escape the reality that she faces. An experiment that Weyland-Yutari has a very distinct knack in fucking up, she's just one of many experiments with the Aliens. She's intelligent, cunning, and free from the hive-mind that she once possessed.
But what is a drone without a queen? Most drones aspire to become queens themselves, without a queen to guide them. Ixi is technically a queen, but she has no ambition to reproduce and infest. In fact, she has little ambition for anything. For what purpose does an alien have without a desire to kill, destroy, breed, repeat?
In truth this basic instinct still exists inside her, but she has intelligence, but more importantly she has empathy. Sure, in moments of blood-lust, both these traits take a backseat but ultimately, they prevent her from fulfilling her life cycle as a perfect creation. She looks at her xenomorph roots in disgust, and then looks at herself and can't help but wonder what purpose she can even make for herself.
Predator_Provision provided her with one. What else could a xenomorph of her unique body type do? With such a stigma following around her, Pred_Prov was happy to opens its doors to her, and in turn, Ixi was more than happy to become part of the team.

Despite her backstory, Ixi is usually kind, though suspicious of people who are too kind to her. It's hard to become friends with her, harder to even begin to talk to her on an emotional level, but when you do, you'll find that she's truly a wonderful person, in a situation of extraordinarily bad luck.
