Little Irina's life hasn't been a lucky one. One day, she woke up to find a rather strange ribbon in her hair, and despite all her efforts to get rid of it, she found that she simply couldn't remove it. At least, not on her own. Later, when someone pulled the ribbon out of her hair and stole it, she soon discovered the terribly odd curse that the ribbon had placed on it - Whenever the ribbon is forcefully taken from her, she would be in the power of the person that did so, being forced to transform into whatever they desired. In addition, if that person were to then wear that ribbon, the strength of the curse would increase, instantly transforming her. Because of this, the already shy Irina becomes even more defensive and nervous when someone takes interest in her ribbon, never knowing what would happen next if it was removed. She really doesn't enjoy the fact that despite being a shapeshifter, she has absolutely no control over it. Her ribbon doesn't make things easier for her, either, as it exudes a hidden charm that can attract people, tending to make them want to remove it.

She can't prove it, but she swears that lately, the ribbon's been moving around by itself. It feels like it has a mind of its own...

So what's really going on? Well, the ribbon was so curious in seeing what other people would do with the power to make someone else turn into anything they wanted. The girl is an extension of the ribbon, but has her own conciousness. As the ribbon acts on its own, when Irina's form is eaten or destroyed, the ribbon can simply make a new one, magically. However, the girl usually doesn't remember what happened to her.
