Turf Wars. The traditional pasttime of all Inklings, splattering everything in sight with ink of your color, and splatting anyone that gets in your way. Surely every Inkling would have a blast in these messy battles, right?
...Apparently not every Inkling is that good at Turf Wars.
Shelly really wants to get involved in more Turf Wars. She's just really, really bad at them. Firing her Splattershot is a challenge because her sleeves are long and kinda floppy. Close-range weapons can't deal with Splat Chargers and Splatterscopes from up high. But worst of all... she's kind of an obvious target, as the enemy team tends to focus on... her backside.
Shelly has a bit more 'junk in the trunk' compared to most other Inklings. Inkling boys fire at her to make really crude and lewd jokes, inkling girls fire at her possibly out of jealousy. That bubble butt of hers ends up being a big target, and it doesn't help much when she just wants to hang out in Inkopolis Square either. Just look at how that poor chair struggles!
Still, impressive bottom and the teasing it brings aside, Shelly's a sweet squid that just wants to do her best in Turf Wars. Once she can work around her little and not-so-little problems, maybe she'll be able to make more friends. ...Well, aside from this one boy that seems kinda chummy with her.
