Born in a deep ocean ravine from up north, a race of venomous octopus people thrive thanks to no species on Earth being foolish enough to try and fight them. This race of octopus contain a powerful toxin in their blood, capable of killing any creature without failure. Not only that, they have tiny needles beneath their skin that they can use to stab prey or assailants to inject this toxic blood directly into their bloodstream. This octopus people lived in peace, trading their natural minerals near their home for food, usually kelp and shellfish. They lived like this, in isolation, for many many years.

Fast forward to a certain octopus's hatching, Inka Tenetacles, daughter to a miner and a chef. She grew up normally enough, going to school and all that jazz. She eventually found work as a chef herself, working at the same restaurant her mother had. One day she decided to take a vacation to the surface, just to get away from the hectic life she had enjoyed. There she met a human, a creature she had only heard about in myths up to that point. She spoke with this girl for hours, pleased to find that the surface language was very easy to understand. She parted with the girl and went home.

The water was stained purple miles above her seafloor home. Purple, the color her people's blood naturally was. She rushed home, and found... hundreds upon hundreds of dead sharkfolk and octopeople. She went home and surely enough, her mom and dad... Killed violently. She let out a yell, swimming quickly around the village to kill any sharks that remained. After roughly an hour she was finished, but her tribe was dead. She had counted two hundred and fourty five corpses. Including her, the tribe had two hundred and fifty one members. Before she could imagine any harder she just left, travelling south in hopes of finding... Something to distract her.

Months passed before she finally found something. A shore, with people on top messing around and playing. She observed them, hunting in the water when she needed to. She eventually found a rock shelf perfect for someone like her to live in. She eventually worked up the courage to go on land and found it... Difficult. Without water, she could barely move. She just ended up sleeping on the sand after a few minutes of trying, finding the warmth rather pleasant. Her camoflaugue had activated when she did this, leading to her getting a rude awakening beneath someone's foot. She threw them of and glared before receding into the water. This continued for months before she just said screw it and found a new place to sunbathe.

She soon found a problem though. She was bored, incredibly and absolutely bored. She tried playing with people at the beach, but usually was just called a monster. Eventually she just started hunting crabs for fun, collecting them and giving them to humans at the beach that were throwing strange little strings. They gave her a strange metal disc, but was told that she could trade it for stuff. She insisted on going somewhere with the fishermen and thankfully, they obliged. They took her to a seafood restaurant where she tried human cooking for the first time. Since then, she works for this restaurant by providing fresh ingredients in exchange for meals.

So yeah, because of all the terrible things that have happened to her she's rather grumpy. Hard to approach without feeling threatened. If you can manage though, you'll find a bit of her original personality. A happy, rather friendly octopus.

Oddities: She has no bones, allowing her to squeeze into tight places. Her skin can change to match the color of stuff around her. She has two sets of eyes and two stomachs. The first stomach is designed for holding, the second stomach is for food. In the middle of her tentacles, there is a beak. Behind it, she has both her butthole and vagina. The butthole can act as a second mouth, similar to real octopuses. She can squeeze an ink from her mouth or rear, the ink being made of leftover edible materials stored in an ink sac.
Modes of transport: Swimming, flexxing her whole body to "stand" and "walk", climbing on someone, climbing in someone.
