Find... Vault? Hunt... Vault?
=================
Okay, I'll admit it, this is most likely something one wouldn't expect to find on Pandora as of Borderlands 2 and its associated DLC expansion, Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt. I mean, look at her... no guns, no shields, no nothin'. At least, not all the necessary Vault Hunter components are visible in the picture, but that I'll make attempts to work with later. Right now, I have a profile format to somewhat detract from.
Somewhere within her early 20's, Illsa is a native to Pandora, not unlike Gunzerker Salvador. The main difference is that she was once a severely detached Psycho who lashed out at anything and everything. This put her at odds with almost every roving band of bandits that exists on Pandora, as well as Hyperion when they took her for experimentation. As one would expect, the woman's mind was broken a second time by the experimentation, leaving only a bitter hatred for Hyperion and Handsome Jack, who was rumored to have been intimately involved with her experiments and torture specifically. Though, this second break actually seemed to provide clarity for the girl, as she was no longer a violent, short-tempered beast of a woman. Rather, the pieces of her mind reformed to reveal a nature-lover at the expense of her ability to speak coherently for more than about two or three words at a time and handle advanced technology.
After escaping Hyperion thanks to the meddling of Professor Nakayama, Illsa lived out her days in relative peace with the animals of Aegrus, with no one recognizing her as the violent woman she once was. However, her hatred for Hyperion still burned in her heart, and saw an opportunity to bring it down from within via Vault Hunting... or so she thought, at any rate. Cue the rest of Borderlands 2.
