A character created for the
Just_Business setting.
Ieva Barons is a demoness from Riga, born as the daughter of a demon of pride and a Latvian businesswoman.
This lead to a rather unusual childhood, and complains about her eating other children were common from kindergarden all the way to high school.
But the opinions of other people never bothered Ieva much.
Blessed with a sharp, albeit often cold intellect and good looks to match, she is well aware of her exceptional capabilities.
Stellar grades in school were followed by outstanding evaluations during her traineeship and her following job as an accountant at the ECOVIS Latvija SIA tax consultancy.
But Ieva wanted more. She pursued a bachelor and finally a master in Finance and Accounting, and worked as a controller for Philip Morris International in Riga for almost a decade.
Now she has aimed to gain international competence with a new job in the US, transferring over to Chambers Fashion to help the company with her knowledge in the field of finances and reporting, and profit from the new business experience in return.
In her current position Ieva is part of the accounting team under Cara, gathering and evaluating financial data and filing them into reports for the head accountant.
But the demoness can see that her department is far from optimized, and she has already begun to gather data to increase the efficiency of her team, offering Cara advice for her job on a daily basis - wanted or not.
Ieva is a straightforward character, who does not value deceit or beating around the bush. If she likes someone she will let them know, and if she cannot stand a person - she does not hold her opinion back either.
Demanding nothing short of perfection from herself and all others, it is a difficult task to satisfy her high expectations. Second place counts nothing in her book.
She has no nice words for losers, slackers or people who just have a bad day. "Get good or get out" is her motto, and there is no excuse for incompetence.
Ieva is determined to improve both her career and the company itself at Chambers Fashion, and will do whatever it takes to achieve her goals.
She did not start her job to make friends, after all.
Typical quotes that can be heard from Ieva at the company:

- "Should you not have been done with this half an hour ago already?"
