Yes, this cute little thing is a denizen of the abyss. One who was fortunate enough to be able to buy her freedom from such a place. Turns out that demons are simply bound to the abyss solely by their masters, usually of arch-demon rank or above. All demons feed on the energy and lifeforce of mortals. It's only a matter of what it's used for that's different. It's often used as currency, those seeking freedom storing and saving as much as they feel necessary to buy themselves free of their keepers. Another common use is sheer consumption. Every piece consumed grants a demon strength, and once enough is gained, they can simply form their own estate, with lower ranked and powered servants, just as they used to be.

Idellia was of the former variety. One who simply wished for freedom. After all, nothing said she couldn't continue to harvest people's essence once she had a life of her own. It took longer than she expected, her master having something of an insatiable appetite for souls, always asking more and more of her, knowing her eagerness would have her get as many for him as quickly as possible. But her freedom would eventually come, leaving her free to wander the mortal realm as she pleased, free of any restrictions and binds on what she could do.

Save for the laws of the mortal realm itself of course. In order to actually live here, she needed a different form of currency. One usually only obtained by 'pulling your weight in society', she was told. Luckily for her, after showing a man the time of his life, she'd come to find work, as a waitress at a club owned by him, one of many. The wage was decent, but her real income came from the tips. Not only was she easy on the eyes, but she treated every customer with kindness, never without a smile on her face. Almost to the point that some found it creepy. No matter how rude the customer was, she'd always take it in stride, never once complaining.

After hours though, she worked for herself. The patrons who would stay late would get a taste of the succubus, and it was here that she would get revenge on those who would treat her and her fellow waitresses poorly. Many would request her as a companion, and many would leave with the biggest smile they've ever had on their faces. Some of those many, however, would find that the next morning, they were incredibly sluggish, as if all their strength were dissipated. This in itself likely ruined some of their days, and possibly beyond that, if they had important matters to attend to. And she herself would be quite happy, sated as her body absorbed their energy from the previous night. She would never leave someone completely dry though, letting them keep barely enough to make their way home.

She made more than enough to buy and maintain a home on the surface world. Many would call it quaint. And many would see it from the inside at her invitation. Free as she was, she still held fast to the carnal pleasures of being a demon after all. She never let someone leave her bed unsatisfied. Usually she'd keep a little bit of them with her. Not enough to be noticed, but it kept her happy, little bits and pieces of their very lifeforce part of her, making her stronger, eternally young and beautiful.

One such guest however, changed things for her. What she expected to be a routine encounter of lust turned into something much more. She'd first notice that her guest had phenomenal endurance, able to screw with her for hours on end taking only minor breaks in between. She'd also notice that even with her idly draining their energy here and there, they kept going as if nothing happened. She was intrigued, asking them in earnest who they were.

After a bit of... coercion, it was discovered that the woman in her room this night was a member of The Pink Lotus, an organization that held competitions of lust and passion for sport and entertainment. The idea excited her, so at her new friend's invitation, she would go there with her. She was welcomed with open arms. After all, a succubus is perfect for that kind of thing! As long as she kept her energy draining habit out of the 'fatal' range, she was allowed to pretty much do as she pleased, rising through the ranks of the Lotus, as well as being quite popular with the audience.

And even with what came with her joining the Lotus, she still kept her life as a waitress, and all the things that came with it. Though now she certainly seemed much happier!~
