Hunneon

Hunneon Information

Hunneons are rather timid Pokemon in the Wild and thus they often avoid confrontation with humans and most of the other Pokemon especially those like Bewear, Politoed, or Beedrill for example. They make their hives high up in the tree tops of the Orre forests made from the wax they produce to make the hive and the combs for the colony which can usually be atleast some hundred or so in one hive. Hunneons are mostly females (87.5% Female to 12.5% male ratio) with male Hunneons being a rarity for the most of the year until it is breeding season with the queen and males bum up in numbers for preparation for such. Males are often the drones in the hive with them mostly being in the background as they don't really forage for pollen or nectar and more so kept around as an extra set of paws and antennas for when needed within the hive. Females make up the majority of the Hunneons seen flying around foraging and pollinating the flowers or producing the honey as they're the worker Hunneons around the hive. They're all overseen by the Queen Hunneon who's on top of the hierarchy in the hives and oversee all of the Hunneons within while staying safe in the center of everything. They have a bit of a different appearance compared to the other Hunneons which is a bit apparent when one gets the chance to see her. Her orders are law and she is to be listened to by the other Hunneons whom follow her orders dutifully. Hunneons are excel more in a defensive standpoint as they're defensive of their hives and their queen with them responding with attacks towards any would be attackers if they feel that they're threatened or their hive is in general. It is unknown if they have a stinger like a Beedrill since the abdomen seems to lack one at the tip or if it unseen until necessary but they use their mouths for biting which contains a venom that causes quite the irritating itching and rash if one gets bitten by more than one. The venom seems reminiscent of that like the poison jab though used through their bug bites against their foes and they often attack in swarms as once bitten, it leaves behind a sort of mark that tells other Hunneons to watch out or strike this individual! Hunneons have a base size of around 2 feet and 3 inches with them reaching up to atleast 3 feet 3 inches in size though the queen can reach to be atleast 3 feet 8 inches which makes her the largest and more notable in the hive among the drones and worker Hunneons. Hunneons do not like the cold and often stay away from the more Northern areas of Orre as it gets rather colder towards those mountains and instead prefer to thrive in the Southern area where the meadows are plenty and the sun is nice and warm for them. This Pokemon shows to be less territorial than Beedrills though they do not like when one gets too close towards the hive but they will attempt to do so without being aggressive unless such response is needed.
