Hummingbird is something you'd call a "metahuman", or a human who was born with powers that the rest of us don't have. Specifically, he was born with the power to steal from other people. But not just shiny trinkets or money, no; Hummingbird can steal entire concepts from his prey. Your height? He can steal that and make you as small as a mouse. Your inhibitions? He can steal those and make you a total, exhibitionist slut. Your fears, your dreams, your strengths, your powers, your youth, your life, your soul.. so diverse is his power that he could pluck each and every one from you with a single, deft touch.
Funnily enough, he uses these powers to parade around as a masked thief, and ends up stealing things like trinkets and money anyway; sneaking into homes using his ill-gotten abilities to line his pockets with the wealth of others, and then stealing their memories (or worse) if they catch him in the act. He's certainly no Robin Hood, and is also something of a greedy lover who is known for targeting attractive people; if he finds you at home when he's stealing from you, he might just steal your whole night away, too~.
Of course, those are his only natural powers, and Hummingbird doesn't "keep" the concepts he steals from other people forever. Most of the time, he's just as physically strong (and just as physically weak) as any other human, if he hasn't "taken" any strengths or powers from anyone-- meaning that if you spring a trap on him, you could have some fun. Hell, he has no defense against magics or hypnotic powers, either. Why not catch him in the act and punish him for being a bad boy..?
