As waves of bioforms and countless islands of larger carapace covered bodies move across battlefields and continents there is one linchpin that can control and corrdinate the swarming masses of the hive mind. She is the one creature essentual to success when brute force fails, her advanced mind twisting and moving the masses of bioengineered flesh to victory. That is until she is captured, her forces crushed, and then she is forced to endure the breaking of the very hive fleet she was birthed from. Now decades later she has escaped. It could be on a fervant world of plants and life, a rocky desert, or even a strange dimention known as the Nexus. All that matters is that she is loose, confused, and very very hungry.
