Hexer

She wouldn't exactly be a hexer without any horrible curses to throw around, would she? Most of them are supportive, utility spells that soften up her targets, and weaken them to the point that they're easy pickings for anybody supporting her, but the lonesome girl is usually on her own! She might have a bit of trouble killing her foes, but she'll certainly make existence horrible for them!

Sapping - A wave of swirling black and red energy washes over a group of opponents, causing their muscles to atrophy, and their blows to weaken, severely decreasing their physical power for a temporary period of time. Works effectively against powerful bruisers, and other muscleheads that don't have any other means of harming the girl than "hurr smash"~

Frailty - A wave of swirling black, and green energy washes over a group of opponents, softening their flesh, and bones, so that even the lightest attacks would cause grievous injuries, or broken limbs. Effective against all forms of physical matter, and works fairly well when used in conjuncture with her chain-related curses~ Squeeze squeeze~

Leaden - A wave of swirling black, and blue energy washes over a group of opponents, causing their bodies to grow more heavy, and slow, so that the petite girl might act before them, or outrun her attackers should she so desire. There will be no going fast while this curse is in play!

Relapse - A wave of swirling black, and yellow energy washes over a group of foes, prolonging the time they're forced to endure the horrible maladies they've been plagued with! Usually most of these curses wear off in time, but with this curse they'll last much longer, dragging out the period of suffering, and forcing the girl's attackers to regret ever having challenged her

Blinding - A curse that attacks the opponent's ocular nerves, and forces them to experience temporary blindness. Obviously wouldn't be of much assistance against creatures that hunt through scent, heat, or sound.

Cranial - A hex that causes inky black chains to materialize from a blue mist, ensnaring the opponent's head, and gagging them, to prevent most spell-casting, and making it difficult to aim their attacks correctly. Another fairly bizarre addition to this curse is that it makes targets exceptionally vulnerable to elemental spells as well.

Abdomen - A curse that causes ebony manacles to lash out from a yellow mist to bind the target's arms, preventing any use! They might be able to make a weak swing, or a punch, but their attacks will be further weakened

Immobile - A spell that causes shadowy shackles to cuff the target's legs to the ground, which prevents them from dodging, fleeing, or using any sort of skill that uses the legs in any way.

Torpor - One of the girl's favourite curses that temporarily forces the opponent into a deep sleep that will be difficult to awake from on their own. A physical, or magical attack would obviously wake them up, but if the girl were to use her 'relapse' curse, and choose to leave them like this, then they might find themselves trapped in a state of slumber that's difficult to shake off

Corrupt - A deadly little curse that causes those afflicted to suffer physical pain upon harming another living being, with a portion of their assaults being inflicted back on them as damage that wracks the very soul.

Revenge - One of the hexer's few offensive curses that gathers the physical suffering she is currently experiencing several times over, and engulfs the opponent in a swirling vortex of red, black, and purple energy which tears away at their physical forms, before the arcane assault explodes violently. Of course, this attack has varying intensities based on how much pain she is currently experiencing, so this could either be laughably negligible, or sure to cause death. Ignores any defensive values, and cannot be dodged

Evil Eye - The girl's cold, grey-blue eyes gleam brightly, instilling a sense of dread, and horror in her target, which causes their bodies to occasionally seize up with fear as they experience their worst terrors being fed directly into their mind to appear like reality. Unlike most of her curses this can only target one victim at a time, and might not affect those too simple to recognize fear, or those with a strong enough willpower. Foes that give in to fright will find themselves vulnerable to the commands of the young hexer..

Paralyze - The hexer uses her control over her frightened foes, and orders them to remain perfectly still, preventing them moving for a short period of time. This does nothing against subjects who aren't in a current state of terror induced by her evil eye, or some other method.

Betrayal - The young curse-maker orders her hysterical, terrified opponents to attack their companions in a fit of blind fright, forgoing all allegiances, or friendships they might have had, until they regain composure. Those panicked puppets will ONLY attack their friends during this period, and never the young witch

Suicide - Perhaps the most dangerous of the hexer's fright-based commands, as it forces those overcome with abject fear to take their own lives in order to escape the horrible, sanity shredding terror. She rarely uses this, as it's much more fun to have an obedient little fright marionette screaming, crying, and pleading for their suffering to end

Poison - A dreadful curse that transmutes the victim's very blood into a horrible, acidic, AND toxic chemical that immediately begins to eat away at their body, threatening to do irrevocable damage, and reduce them to nothing more than a deformed skeleton laying in a puddle of that aggressive green goop that devoured their very flesh. Those resistant to the acidic effects will instead have to endure the toxic qualities, which just might end up with them making a prettier corpse

Dampen - A strange curse that shatters the targets elemental resistances, leaving even a powerful dragon wrapped in storm clouds, and comprised of golden scales crackling with electricity to fall victim to an electrical attack from another source, fire elementals being burned by glorious flames, or even living snowmen to suffer the chilling effects of a blizzard. Too bad the young girl rarely has any such elemental spells on hand, so she can't make much use of this, unless the setting has her advanced in arcane studies, and having learned some herself

Caprice - Uh oh, should the battle draw out over a long period of time the petite spellcaster will eventually take the power she has gathered up from attacking, or being struck to initiate probably her most devastating curse that can lay waste to entire waves of foes! A silent ring of that bell will cause a horrible black fog to roll in, and consume the battlefield, causing any who dare oppose her to be overwhelmed with a horrific plague of effects! The victims will feel the wind being knocked out of their lungs, resulting in them being temporarily stunned, a great exhaustion will wash over them, and attempt to force them into an unconscious state of sleep, their muscles will begin to spasm, and lock up against their will, resulting in paralysis, their body will taint with a similar effect to the 'Corrupt' hex, cursing them, their bloodstream will fill with a horrible poison, they will be overcome with a great fear, their eyes will begin to cloud with blindness, their skin will begin to harden, and turn to stone as they're petrified, their minds will haze over with panic, and lose to tell the difference between friend or foe, but should they manage to resist all of this, then there's always the threat of instant death. A lot of these effects conflict with each other, but should you manage to shake off sleep, then your mind might still be wracked with panic, or fear! Of course, petrification, and instant death sort of trump everything else~

A quick list of what she's generally capable of inflicting on others, and what they do!

Head bind (Cranial) - Victims afflicted by this psuedo-status effect will lose their ability to use any such abilities that require the use of their head, and anything on it, such as dangerous stares (eyes), war cries/shouts (mouth), breath attacks (mouth), spoken spells etc etc. Accuracy, and spell resistance will be lowered as well

Arm bind (Abdomen) - Foes that have their arms bound will find their arm-based special attacks have no additional effects, like venomous claws won't poison, shield bashes won't stun, weapons that aren't INNATELY enchanted with elements won't be able to use elemental strikes, etc, and that these attacks will be weakened to a point, but at least you'll be able to use your arms normally

Leg bind (Immobile) - Targets with bound legs will suffer an intense mobility penalty, preventing them from running, fleeing, or using any skills that involve the use of legs, such as jumping, dancing, kicking, etc. Dodge rate decreased, but this doesn't really matter, since most of her skills use another method to determine whether they take hold, or not

Blind (Blindness, Caprice) - Your typical blind/darkness status effect that lowers an opponent's melee/magical accuracy.

Poison (Poison, Caprice) - Poison is generally a laughable status effect in most worlds, but this girl comes from a world were the natural poisons from beasts, and arcane toxic effects are incredibly deadly, so it should be taken seriously! Set damage that's based on damage modifiers instead of wimpy percentage damage, so weaker beings are usually brought to a swift death

Sleep (Torpor, Caprice) - Typical sleep that wears off after a while, and victims can be prematurely woken up by being attacked, but they'll suffer additional damage in the process, and obviously be unable to dodge

Panic (Caprice) - Confusion status effect that might cause the afflicted individual to attack themselves, or their friends instead of their enemy, but they find themselves unable to think clear enough to use any skills, or magic

Paralysis (Caprice) - General paralysis status effect that results in the victim's body seizing up occasionally, and preventing them from acting every once in a while

Stun (Caprice) - Where paralysis lasts for multiple turns, and only has a chance of preventing the victim for acting 'stun' lasts for one turn, but always works~ Thankfully it's tied to a curse the girl can't use often, so she can't stunlock you

Fear (Evil Eye, Caprice) - Similar to paralysis in that it lasts for multiple turns, and occasionally stops the victim from doing anything, but it also opens them up, and allows for her to command them with her specific skills to do so

Cursed (Corrupt, Caprice) - A status effect called curse from a curse? How absurd! Reflects 50% damage back at the afflicted attacker whenever they harm ANYBODY through magical, or physical means

Petrification (Caprice) - Causes the body to rapidly harden into stone PERMANENTLY, leaving them unable to act, resist, move, or do anything~ They're just a still little statue, forced to watch silently through those cold, open eyes FOREVER. The young spellcaster could easily tip this stone statue over, and force it to crumble, or take a heavy weapon to it, if she's feeling exceptionally brutal. Of course, there are means, and spells that could cure this horrible ailment normally, but if they're shattered? Well...

After completing her adventures this particular hexer decided that she needed some place to call home, which was situated far from the public's eye so that she might be able to continue her arcane studies in peace, and without the threat of being interrupted, so she began a search for the perfect home to fit her needs. Eventually she found a nice, and abandoned crumbling tower deep within a lush, and verdant forest that she quickly took residence up in... but not before she modified the surrounding forest to her liking! After having spent most of her early life honing her skills in certain labyrinths, and combating the local wildlife she decided for a change of pace, and cursed the vast forest surrounding her home with a dreadful plague. This caused the greenery to wither, tainted the water supplies, and forced the wildlife to flee the area.

Soon the emerald sea that spread as far as the eye could see was turned into a collection of withered grey tree husks that shot out of the lifeless black soil like countless scraggly claws that were trying to rake across the heavens. It seemed as though not even the sky was left untouched by her curse, as the beautiful blue sky was soon overcome with a permanent overcast that choked out both the sun, and moon in the area above the cursemaker's twisted forest. Those traversing the area would find the ground was covered in a thick layer of white ash which was all that remained of the grass that once grew there, and every step would kick up that dust to reveal the dead earth that lacked the nutrients to bare future crops, or plant life. To finish off the description of the general location it should be noted that the lakes had been turned into stagnant pools of poisonous purple muck that threaten to drag all those who immerse themselves in it to a slimy doom, or force a slow, agonizing death to the one desperate enough to drink from that previous water source, while the more active rivers had completely dried up.

Now that the spellcaster had completely eliminated the possible risk of being interrupted by animals, or humans alike she began to remodel that dilapidated tower into her new home, which she filled with tomes, alchemical gear, and other equipment or amenities to keep herself distracted when she grows bored from her work.
Unfortunately the girl lacked the physical prowess in order to clean up the outer image of her crumbling spire that raised above the canopy of the trees, and could be seen for miles.

It should be noted that through all the effort she has gone through preventing visitors she might not exactly be happy to find someone knocking at the front door!
