Born in ancient times to the guardian sphinx of Giza and Alexander the Great, Hespia was raised in secret by her father in his kingdom, kept separated from the outside in a mansion built by her father with a select group of servants her father hand picked, and access to the royal library where she learned everything possible, being a sphinx she as naturally curious and often spoke in riddles, although she rarely spoke to her servants, seeing herself as above others, only having her servants feed her during meals or to groom her fur and wings. To help her learn more about her Egyptian ties her father had the finest cloths made for her and had her home decorated in Egyptian artifacts and décor along with copies of many books found in the pharaoh's royal library to let her learn more, as well as gathering books and scrolls from all over the known world allowing her to learn more than ever her fathers best scholars. But as the years went on and she turned 13 she grew more spoiled and demanding, often beating her servants if anything was out of place, until one day her servants hired a mage to curse her, but instead of putting a curse on her he flung her forward in time to a time unknown to any.

After finding herself in the nexus hespia was unsure of things, maintaining her habbits, but with the help of residents like the shape shifter blizzare and the cockatrice Kyrii Hatame she is adjusting, even wearing modern cloths, and attempting, although failing at modern speech. After an offer from blizzare she is now his adopted daughter and lives with him in his home, learning from him, although at times reluctently. As time passed while hespia was comfertable in her new home her desire to challange her wit and others lead her to wander off, though she does return home on occasion for those she considers family, even if reluctently.
