I'm Hespera, and I'm here to play. And hunt. Same thing.

I'm a black widow - no, I'm not a comic book hero, and no, I've never been married. I'm a spider. My race is ancient - shape shifters. We live on the boundaries of civilization: never close enough to be documented, but always nearby. We need humans. We cannot breed alone. To be honest, I'm not sure there are any males of my kind. So we hunt. We seduce. And we eat.

It's hardly fair, really. As a spider, I might be tiny. Even in my more human form, I'm only about five feet tall. But my skin is tough, like cool latex. My strength is considerable. My speed? Unmatchable by humans. My webs are supple, and my venom is potent. Though I can deliver it with a bite, I prefer to pass it on through small doses in more... affectionate ways. Just a bit and I can make your head swim. A bit more, and you'll forget your own name. That's all it takes for me to own you - first your heart, then your mind... then your flesh.

To be clear, I don't hunt only when I mate. And I don't always eat my playmates. Actually, the entire process is a sensual one for me. Sex, feeding... both are deeply enjoyable on their own. Either way, I'm always on the lookout for the next one to snag in my web. Could that be you?
