Personality: Like most demons, Hekyl is representative of a sin, or a set of sins, and his personality reflects that to a point. For him, pride is a real, nearly tangible emotion. He is proud of the unique nature of his body, of his abilities, of his looks.. if there is something for him to take pride in, he likely will. Compliments are the easiest way to get on his good side, and he certainly doesn't mind attention.

Despite being a proud demon, though, Hekyl is not inherently evil. He doesn't have any particularly sinister goals; rather, he lives day to day, and indulges in whatever makes him happy, hedonistic or otherwise. He likes to have fun, he likes to flirt, and he likes sweet, tangy foods.



Biology & History: While normally known for magic, rather than technological advancements, demons are no stranger to modern science. One such field of study is genetic splicing, and Hekyl is a direct result of that. One might say he's the very culmination of it; his entire genetic structure is hard-wired to his brain, and actually under his own, direct influence. He can change his biology at will, with amazing depth and speed.

For instance, Hekyl could turn his skin into a chitinous exoskeleton at will. He could turn his fingers into razor-sharp talons, his abdomen into a gaping maw of teeth, his arm into a wriggling mass of tongue-like tentacles, his entire body into a pile if ichorous slime. Flesh, bone, even mineral, gas or liquid, with the only real restriction on mixture being Hekyl's own imagination.

Why, his body itself is practically a science lab, capable of producing toxins and alchemical mixtures as Hekyl wills them. Poisons, tinctures, aphrodisiacs, acids.. they can all be not only produced by the amorphous genetic laboratory Hekyl calls his body, but injected into others, as well, should he choose to do so (whether by growing fangs, like a snake, or a stinger, like a scorpion, etc.)
