Persona Digital Assistants are rather ubiquitous devices these days. Most folks who can use them have them... they're relatively cheap devices, essentially small computers, and they allow someone instant access to many important facets of their lives.
But they're often needlessly complicated for the average user, and no one likes to have to hit eighty different keys just to send an email. And what's the average person need rolling stock updates for, anyway?
One company (name not printed here for security reasons) decided that perhaps, if a PDA was user-friendly and had features that could appeal to people other than CEOs, they might sell more.
The first prototype was the QDXA-0001-ARS, also known as the 'Moe PDA'. It took the form of a girl, not much smaller than a doll, equipped with advanced AI routines and most of the functions of a full-sized computer, as well as a cheerful and helpful personality.
Only one prototype was made, and that prototype is Hatsu.
