The Hasslin family was happy in the nation of Kornoc Kor- until it was discovered that Hassy's mother was practicing magic without the express direction of the Conclave- the governing body of her nation. Hassy's family was wiped out one night by a Conclave Control Squad. Her father was incinerated in the kitchen. Her two bothers were devoured alive by the Squad's commandor and her mother was hung from a light post as a warning for other possible magic users. Hassy's mother managed to smuggle her to a safe hiding place, but in doing so, had left her to wander alone without her family. Now Hassy wanders along. A sad, helpless, lost bunny-girl.
