Harriet is the jovial sort, living her day-to-day life in a carefree way. Unfortunately for those around her, she's also voracious to an absolute fault. There's no malice in it; Harriet simply sees nothing wrong with seeing someone tasty-looking and plucking them right off the ground, opening those massive jaws, and plopping them inside. One gulp, and they're kicking around in that already-round gut of hers, nearly but not quite invisible to the general public who know to steer clear of her from that point.
As one would expect from a hippo, Harriet is large, standing somewhere between 8 and 11 feet tall and weighing considerably over a ton. Also thanks to her hippo anatomy, her jaws can open to almost a 180-degree angle, more than enough to accomodate any meal that she needs to stuff down her gullet. How accomodating is it, you ask? Well...
Nicole_The_Handler is perhaps Harriet's favorite meal to date. The girl was absolutely delicious, feeding herself to the hippo she cared for after much teasing that got the both of them highly aroused. Harriet has kept her skull after washing it in the river, which even has her long black hair attached to help identify her! (NOT perma)

Flutternuttshy approached Harriet, adoring her and offering to feed herself to the hippo. However, Fluttershy was very clear she didn't want to be melted and Harriet's stomach is inhospitable for prey... so they 'compromised' and she told a few white lies to get the silly girl inside, melting her away and burping up yellow feathers everywhere! Now her cutiemark sits on those pudgy cheeks while her bleached skull was kept as a keepsake.
AlexTheShyPrey met Harriet someplace private and was forced to admit that she wanted to become food for the hippo. She was plucked up and gulped down, her clothes burped onto the ground before melting away into hippo fat.
Anastasha greeted Harriet when the hippo took a vacation to her tropical island. Recognizing her as a hippo goddess, the native islander led Harriet to the village where they would have a great feast... and a naked Anastasha was the centerpiece of that feast, becoming a sacrifice for Harriet who was all too willing to oblige.
Daisy_Udders had a brush with Harriet on the street. Contrary to most, Harriet did NOT eat her up on the spot, but ventured into a restaurant. Enamoured with the predator, Daisy entered the establishment determined to be the hippo's dinner. She succeeded, and was deposited in a nice pile out back in the alleway!
GatorGal was bullying people around the pool, even eating a couple. Little did she know, she wasn't the apex-predator at the pool when the big hippo came out and gutted her!
