Backround:

Hanna Lian had grown up in taipei being half taiwanese and half nexus citizen her mother being a notorious pred of distant european stock (her ancestors crossing into the nexus in the days before julius ceasar), who had fled to asia to avoid some predators who she owed money too, turns out they had a long reach since she ended up clogging the family toilet one evening when Hanna was seven years of age, however hanna never lost a sense of curiosity for her mothers homeland and always wanted to visit there, as someone who was born in our world it is not gaurenteed she would inherit the predator gene, the laws of nature acting on her body being diffrent to that of the nexus she was certain to be weaker and more prey like than her mother, something that made going to the nexus extremely dangerous, however as a daughter of a nexus citizen she had a right to enroll in the university and so she did, studying media just in case she needed to move back to taipei and needed a career in the normal world.

So far her first year in the nexus has been a culture shock, having to perfect her english and get used to their being more than one sentient species, and having to be more aware of the food chain than before and where she was on it, pretty low it turns out, Hanna has not eaten anyone yet and there are doubts if she can, going to doctors they have suggested that she may have arrived just in time for the weird magic of the nexus to activate her predator dna, if she inherited any but its just as likely she is simply prey through and through, though she is taking stimulants to keep her body as strong as the average nexus denizen, she often forgets to take them or they wear off and she is stuck in a dangerous situation where she is weaker tahn even the preyist of anthros, however every cloud has a silver lining and for Hanna that is,that many people are curious as to a outsiders thoughts on the nexus and so she has started a vlogging channel that is popular enough, she is also head of events on the student council giving her plenty of content.
