Hamakaze

".....I remember this fitting last month before the end of summer festival..."

Hamakaze struggled to pull down her uniform; meant for someone a few sizes smaller than what she currently was. The Kagerou-class Destroyer blew out a puff of breath as she gave up in the futile endeavor of pulling the thin article of clothing further down. This only brought to mind one startling realization: she ate far too much during the last month of summer. She had worn a kimono then as she attended the festival night after night to gorge herself on food such as fried squid, corn on the cob and other lovely treats.

It caught up with her and it showed as well; it was a wonder that she could even pull the cloth she used to call her standard military attire over her fat-filled breasts. The Destroyer would surely be dismissed from active duty now, she could barely fit in her underwear, much less wear any of her gear for sorties. In fact...her last sortie was some few weeks before the festival when she had just started putting on weight. Maybe that was when the decline began and she just pretended not to notice until now.

Exercise. That was what she needed but then a resounding groaaa~nnnn came from her plump midsection to signify that she was in need of something to fill her belly. Perhaps she could find enough food to satisfy her that she won't have to resort to extreme measures. Yes, in Hamakaze's continued expansion, she has taken to the consumption of civilians.It was never out of spite, but out of a need to fill the empty void inside of her.

Little did she know is that the void was only growing the more she fed it, almost like a cruel and ironic curse. Hamakaze only wanted to satiate herself and stop feeling so HUNGRY. Maybe one day she'll return to that treasured size of her original self but not likely with so many tempting morsels and such delicious food around for her to enjoy and gorge herself on.
