Hamadi

Hidden away in the forests and mountains are the monastic temples of the Lapinians. Demi-human rabbits with a culture steeped in mysticism. Being of a naturally prey-oriented species, one might think them easy pickings for monsters and conquerers, but there are two good reasons this isn't the case. Firstly, the Lapinians are known for being compassionate, and having a monastary near a town or kingdom is a definite boon. Their knowledge of herbology and healing arts is widely spoken of, and when left alone they are not an aggressive people.

The second reason are those such as Hamadi. The Lapinian warrior monks. This specific caste are the soldiers and defenders of their temples, and also those who most often travel, securing trade, defending their less capable brethren, and the like. While they also devote their lives to pursuits such as meditation and inner peace, the rest of their time is spent in martial training rather than gardening or study. Generally eschewing all but the lightest armor, they hone their very bodies into weapons. Fists land like hammers, and rare is the metal plate that can withstand the trained kick of a Lapinian warrior monk!

Even more surprising than that are their predatory capabilities. Although not a go-to method of attack for any Lapinian (some even know healing techniques centered around similar abilities), many of them are capable of predation. No one expects a carnivorous rabbit, especially when many of them are vegetarians!

So, Hamadi. A very typical example of all of this. Six feet tall....seven if you count the ears....with tan skin and golden hair, she's most easily encountered while travelling. She bears no desire for treasure outside of particular types of documents or artifacts, but if a cause is just, she may be willing to join a party of adventurers. Her quiet, peaceful demeanor exudes calm, but this placid surface hides the potential typhoon always ready to burst into action.
