A phantom carrot that was on the verge of becoming a demon but, was tainted with the potent Myrtu Mana once an entity of death ravaged her farmer's land and home. While the garden and it's diligent owner perished, the demonic carrot remained, the mana it retained from it's incubation period of becoming a demon allowing it to survive the blow...but diverting it's evolution slightly into a more spectral being. Once it matured, the carrot uprooted itself, and had transformed into what some would call an "Elder Ghost Root", a plant like phantom that usually gains ghostly properties from existing for a long period of time and while retaining the mana needed to convert into ectoplasma. In this case, the transformation was evoked by the introduction of Myrtu Mana, thus giving rise to the plump, carrot like figure you see now.
Realizing where her origins were and what had happened, the phantom remained at the abandoned farmlands, haunting the barren garden for centuries on end. Her presence there managing to rouse an interest in local occult maniacs and thrill seekers who treaded upon her "sacred grounds" to see the 'Dead Gardens Ghost'. Given the name "Gwraiddysbryd" by those who witnessed her manifestations, she has come to see her occasional visitor as just another human to scare with her impish uses of poltergiests and ghostly vegetables of the undead. Gwraiddysbryd herself had underwent a fairly drastic change in demeanor since her transformation, once being bitter and angry with her fate but, soon changing into a playfully mischievous (but still slightly antagonistic) phantom that finds a certain joy out of scaring others and showing off just why she was so famous. That being said, she's also rather arrogant and haughty, believing herself to be the "most terrifying thing to ever crawl out of the mud" and is not hesitant to show this to others if she so pleases. Despite what she is, Gwraiddysbryd does not seem to have an opinion on those of the lapine race, but she does, however, despise birds for some unknown reason.
