The Green Goddess Midori no Okami. That is how this girl introduces herself, never giving her real name.

She is a very well known japanese deity. Over 32000 shrines were erected in her name, and many people still worship her at the present day.

As an (almost) almighty goddess, Midori was bored out of her mind. That's why she decided to play a game. Every now and then, she sends avatars of herself to roam the land. These are known as Midori, and look like regular fox girls.

These girls are, in the goddess' own words, "expendable". She uses them to collect donations, and live some adventures in a demi-human form.
Their looks may vary, but they often appear as beautiful green-haired maidens, with fox tails and ears.

Midori acts selfish and always expects people to worship her, and fails to realize nearly no one in Nexus is aware of her existence. This often leads to misunderstandings, and the fact she isn't using her real name doesn't help to clear them up.

She can however act very friendly and openly to friends and followers. She is not the kind of person who turns a blind eye to people, and will reward whoever acts properly in her presence.

Midori has set a number of rules to better live under her protection.
Here are the main ones:
Rule#1: No blood, no pain, no violence.
Rule#2: Your body must be clean and pure, and shall be kept so.
Rule#3: Harmony comes from understanding.
Rule#4: Hatred leads to ruin.
