"Heheh. Hey there, wanna take a chance?"
As the human manifestation of the sin, Avarice, Seph walks among other sentient beings, willing them to sell their soul, or more, for a little profit. Many decades ago, Seph was a human. He walked the streets, as he does now, looking for just about anything. He would attempt to mug people, steal trinkets from stores, even gamble at times. However, he had never guessed that he would be so 'good' at being bad that the Big man himself, mister King of hell, would come after him with a job offer.
One evening, after a long day of running from the authorities, tiny dogs, and his personal 'tax' collectors, Seph walked down a dark alley. He sighed, tired from the days work, and began counting his profits. Five, ten, twenty... thirty dollars, a silly band, and a few paper clips currently occupied his hand. Looking up from his Hard earned reward, he noticed a dark shadow in the corner of the alley. Walking towards it, he was blasted back by an energy that erupted from the shadow. As a gigantic figure rose, Seph scooted back, promising money, payment, gifts, anything he thought the being would be after. In a deep, desolate tone, the figure responded, "Do not cower." Another blast of energy smashed into Seph, knocking him out.
He woke up, his body different from the scraggly-bearded bum he was. Now he was toned, his eyes were covered by a pair of black sunglasses, and his long black hair was clean and bound in a ponytail. His right shoulder bore a burned-on mark, and in his left earlobe was a gauge. Before long, he would be sent back into our world to do what he was doing before, only with the stakes much MUCH higher...
As a demon, and in order to quickly get out of tough situations, he has a rather odd ability. His clothing is actually a form of extra skin that he extends from his body, rather than just wearing something.
