Grapple

Right here we have a seemingly normal looking Nidoking...nothing of unique interest. At first glance at least...then you look a little closer and realize...he's made of rubber!

This Nidoking has a very unique history and is in fact over a century old and still quite young! Grapple was born an ordinary human in the town of Veridian city. He wasn't one of those aspiring trainers from back in the day...he was a regular kid, living a regular school life and was set to take the girl he was dating in middle school to a costume party that their pokemon school was having. Everyone was required to dress up as a pokemon for the party, but he was nothing if not lazy! On the last day to pick out a costume, he approached the costume shop to find a pokemon outfit that wouldn't be completely rediculous...and found himself face to face with a rather realistic looking Nidoking suit, minus the fact it was all rubbery latex, made to stretch and accomodate most any size. The shop keeper gave him a knowing smile and gestured for him to give the costume a try, to see if he'd be interested in buying it. This turned out to be quite a mistake...after putting on the costume, it actually started shrinking around him, painfully compacting his body as the outfit shrank and started forming into something completely different...bones were breaking and every part of his body was in intense pain before he blacked out...When he came too, he was in the middle of route 3...as a Nidoran!!
whatever the shop keeper had given him to try on definitely left him feeling weak...but he had to get to the bottom of this so he went back into the city but found that costume shop had completely dissapeared, with many wondering why a completely random and wild Nidoran would stroll so casually into the area. It wouldn't be until much later that he would discover that the shop had been a trick that the legendary pokemon Mew had conjured up...as was the outfit he wore. While it was a prank to the legendary pokemon, it blessed the human with the unique gift of immortality...or at least a very prolonged life with eternal youth. He could also speak in his old human tongue while also learning how to speak his new pokemon language.

Eventually, he came to terms with his new body and new life...and came to be under the possession of his former middle school sweet heart turned trainer. Since then, he's been a part of their family as well...a family pet and trainer to each generation born until current day, where he'd grown into a powerful Nidoking under the training of his most current trainer and one he calls his closest friend JesseTheGrim and together they've combatted some of the scariest things the old Nidoking has lived through, and from Jesse, he took on the nickname Grappler.

Backstory taken care of...Grapple is a powerhouse of a Nidoking, if one were to judge him he would be classified as the worlds strongest Nidoking, with power that can put most creatures in their place. He's also capable of dealing with types that his species is typically weak too, such as Water types and Ice types, and of course fellow Grounders. IF there's one that he hasn't completely overcome is the Psychic types due to how tricky they can be.

He's an aggressive Nido, with or without Jesse, he isn't afraid to speak his mind about others, and this is partly due to his strength. Despite it being stupid to challenge the Nidoking to battle, he values courage and strength above everything else. if you can prove your mettle he won't judge you in cowardice. On the contrary, he might take a liking to you, and seek to be a friend.

As odd as it is, Jesse's family never "Officially" captured Grapple. Because of this he's technically still obtainable and could even be captured in the middle of a trainer battle. Good luck trying to do so however. It's a good way to piss him off and end up taking a one way trip down his gullet. That said, Jesse and Grapple know that their time together won't last forever, despite Jesse being the grim reaper, he is still in fact mortal...so when Jesse's end comes, Grapple will need to find a new trainer that he would find worthy to call master. Until then, good luck trying to capture him in the presence of Jesse.


These are a few scenes that came to mind and would be fun to play.

1-Someone encounters Grapple in the wild and assumes he's a wild pokemon and attempt to capture him...This can either go well or go very badly for the captor.

2- Jesse's time has passed, and the now lone rubber Nidoking has been captured by some luck and put up on display at an "adult" toy shop and someone buys him, intending to take the Nido home as a sex toy for their enjoyment without realizing that he is in fact alive. (This is one I really want to do)

3-Kind of the same as scene 2, Grapple has been caught and sold at a "toy" shop, but the buyer is fully aware that Grapple is a living rubber Nidoking but decides to take him home anyway. (same here)

4-This one is a little different. It's the other player's birthday and they recieve a gift in the mail from a relative or friend wrapped up neatly. It has an inflatable Nidoking toy inside that is for the most part, very much inanimate, but starts coming to life once it's been inflated.
