Goddess_Youko

Meet Youko, goddess of purity! Generous and loving, she’s dedicated herself to helping others both in life and in death, relieving suffering and guiding the recently deceased to the afterlife. Even more importantly, she’s devoted to helping others ‘conquer their demons’, offering a rehabilitation program to any who would accept it.

As nice as she is, there’s a reason she emphasizes killing one’s worst habits. Behind that gentle smile lies a demon who loves nothing more than indulging in the pain of others. While normally she can keep herself in check by literally feeding on others suffering to remove it, it’s not always the case, and she may slip back into her former self.

Enter Akane, Youko’s true self behind the mask. An alternate personality that lies dormant most of the time, she tends to come out when Youko’s either deprived or overindulges in her inherent sadism. As opposed to Youko, Akane seeks to bring as much pain as possible, holding people on the brink of death. While the personality shift is temporary, Akane won’t go dormant again until her bloodlust is fulfilled and her victim is finally dead - or wishes they were.

While polar opposites at a glance, Both Youko and Akane have one thing in common: they’re both masochists…though indulging Youko in this department too much may cause Akane to make a surprise appearance, and she’d much rather hurt you.

Note: relatively barebones profile at the moment, though I do plan on updating it in time. Character’s ready to go regardless! I am however fairly shy, so I’m not particularly likely to approach first, though I’m usually open to chatting.

Incidents

Arriving to perform one of her more mundane duties as a therapist, Youko arrived only to find her patient was out on business. Not wanting to waste the trip, she offered a session to Secret_Name instead, where he admitted his desire to be eaten by her. While hesitant at first, even trying to talk him down and leave, her inherrent nature got the better of her, swallowing and digesting him.

During a routine trip collecting souls, Youko stumbled across Lost_Jen, who had already fallen prey to another. Though it may be her job to escort souls like her to the afterlife, Jen was technically not of this world, and therefore ‘outside her jurisdiction’, the goddess giving her a second - or rather, third - lease on life instead.
