Parvati, the Hindu goddess of power, nourishment and devotion. There are other domains but the first three are the most important and this very same goddess has chosen to manifest in the body of one Sakura Matou. It is unknown for what reason but the normally gloomy girl's life has improved for the better ever since her possession, she seems more friendly and less negative thinking. The reason being that Parvati is the one influencing control of the body more times than not.

There are times when Sakura's emotions, strong ones that is, leak out. Even Parvati cannot, or chooses not to, hold back the young woman from regaining control of her body. The goddess knew of Sakura's 'habits' and yet accepted the young woman as her vessel all the same due to their mental wavelength being similar. It may not be approval but Parvati lets the young girl indulge for the sake of their union.

As Parvati is a goddess of motherhood and devotion, nothing the pair does is inherently painful. It may be humiliating but never painful, that includes even digestion. It will be a pleasant experience for everyone involved. Perhaps this is the terrifying might of someone who just effuses love in almost every aspect of their life. It is a goddess' love to that allows her to accept the kindness of others that wish to become one with her body.

It is this goddess' devotion to their union that allows her to let Sakura indulge in her own less than kind activities. Perhaps it is for the betterment of her host that Parvati chose this girl instead of searching elsewhere. It is hard to understand the nature of deities.
