Glorp

Glorp is...well...the name says it all. He's more or less a pile of ooze about the same consistency of Jello Pudding, but he doesn't taste like Jello pudding so don't bother. The story of his origin is a long and tragic tale...maybe. I don't know I just created the character. I'll figure that stuff out later.

Anyway on to the

Description: Glorp is a pile of goo about the same consistency of jello pudding. He's somewhat transparent but in order to see through him you'd probably have to get closer to him then you'd really want to. From a distance he's a sort of blueish greenish color and he may or may not have formed a "face" via having shallow dents in him where they eyes and mouth would be. This is basically just for show, though.

Personality: Glorp isn't the smartest pile of goo in the world by any sort. He has been given various scientific tests to gage his intelligence. He's been given Rubix Cubes to figure out, but he ate the Rubix Cube. He's been given music to listen to, but he eats the CD Player. A young nurse was sent in to engage him in a game of chess and....well it took some doing but she's fine now and her therapist believes that she'll be ready to face the outside world any day now. The one thing that does seem to hold his interest is television. He'll sit for hours in front of a TV watching anything from old Masterpiece Theater reruns to daytime talk shows. Note: while technically Glorp seems to be a-sexual, researches have determined that he's male based off the fact that he finds The Three Stooges amusing, is particularly fond of beer and drinks milk straight from the carton.

Capabilities: Well he's a pile of goo, so there's not a lot of options. He can absorb prey, and either keep said prey subdued or slowly "digest" the prey by converting the prey's cells to copy it's own mass. He can also reassemble said prey but if said prey is sentient then they'll be somewhat loopy and out of sorts for awhile afterward (anywhere from about an hour to about a week depending).

Bladed weapons don't have any effect on him (try cutting Jello Pudding) and blunt weapons are similarly pointless (no pun intended). His major weaknesses are extreme heat and extreme cold. Extreme heat (i.e. flamethrower type stuff) will cause him to "melt" and extreme cold will cause him to freeze or at least slow him down depending on how cold it is. Electricity...reports aren't conclusive yet (read: Author hasn't decided yet.).

His main weakness, though, is television. If someone turns on a television in his vicinity he stop what he's doing and ooze over to it.

Speech: He only talks in more or less monosyllabic words such as "Food", "Ouch", or "Shhh...TV" and it can be difficult to tell exactly what he's saying given that he has to attempt to replicate the complex anatomy of a human vocal system in order to accomplish any speech at all. Research states that he hadn't had the ability to speak before absorbing the nurse and hadn't had the desire to speak until the researchers were talking during his favorite show.

Lastly: this character is an alt of Weirdo
