Glissa

Please note: although this character seems pred at first, she is prey!

Character
Glissa is a young (barely 13) human girl. She has been in training to become a monster-slayer. She had wanted to hunt monsters as she had hidden from a monster raid when she was 6. She saw how her father was murdered and her mother and older sisters were eaten by monsters.

After her mentor died an premature death she decided to go after the monsters herself. Conviced of her training and certain that no harm could ever come to her. Unfortunatlly for her, her training is far from complete, but she doesn't realize it.

Glissa is convinced of herself and sees no danger. Although trained for combat she still sees the monster-hunting and slaying as a big game in which she really wants to be the best slayer there is.

She loves to brag about the number of monsters she has killed, but actually she hasn't killed any yet - in fact she hasn't even met one yet. Deep in her heart she is really afraid of monsters...

Glissa is armed with two staff-swords she knows well and wears grey leather armor, reinforced with chain links at places. She can't do magic but is an agile fighter, yet very unexperienced. Her firghting style is near to dancing, twirling around and slashing with her blades.

She is not the smartest girl around.

Glissa is about 13 years old, player is adult.

Possible ways to start a scenario
- Glissa seeks out a monster to hunt, fights it but loses.
- A monster attacks a village and Glissa is the only defender.
- For her 13th birthday, Glissa needs to be initiated as a novice monster hunter.
- (human preds) Glissa thinks she has a new trainer, not realizing that not only monsters are dangerous.
- A friend is captured by a monster and Glissa tries to save her (allowing two preys if you like! No more than two and friend should be of similar age).
- Glissa does not hunt a monster, but she and another girl are forced to hunt eachother for people's entertainment.

Any ideas are welcome of course.

There can certainly be combat, but never should dice or game list abilities be a (visible) part of it.
