Pred calls heads or tails and we roll a d2. Every time the pred guesses right the time increment goes up.

0 right hours -> 1 right days -> 2 right weeks -> 3 right months -> 4 right see you next year!(reforms Jan 1st so worse in January than december!)

As long as the pred didn't make it to years we'll roll another dice for duration.
