For the average person, a gijinka is a girl or boy with pokemon features, not unlike a nekomimi. Only, it’s not limited to appendages like ears; it can be as simple as a person wearing clothing made to look remotely pokemon-esque. Some are more elaborate than others, some look very much like the pokemon they are based on while others can be more subtle in appearance.
